4-star Bryson Hurst out of Gautier commits. I know it's on the recruiting board here, but nonetheless.

Love that Kiffin is placing a heavy emphasis on the offensive and defensive lines. Bryson is our 9th OL commit/transfer in the last two recruiting cycles. We've had 7 DL commits over the same time frame.

Big pick up. We don't have a helluva lot of recruits but our average ranking is easily in the Top 20.

Just noticed that Ole Miss moved from an 8 point favorite to 9.5 .

Anything could happen but I'm thinking 7-5 is our floor and 9-3 is our ceiling. There are just so many variables at this point in the year but anything in that range wouldn't blow my mind. Is 10-2 possible? Yes. But so is 6-6. Anyway, my prediction is also 8-4

Couple of thoughts on our depth chart:
1. JRP is going to see some serious time at receiver, which makes me happy. He's fast, he's smart, and he's electric.
2. Our offensive line is fricking stacked. I don't think we understand how important it was for us to get Orlando Umana in the transfer portal - having Ben Brown at guard (his true position) instead of center is huge.
3. Snoop Conner at 4th string is interesting, but his Ole Miss career is over after this year - might as well let Parrish get some more reps. Snoop will still have a short yardage package.
4. The defensive line is definitely deeper than it was last year - having Iton & Gordon at DT is great. Curious to see if Tywone Malone is quick enough to play DE. If he can move fast and maintain his 300lb weight, he's going to be a monster.
5. I like the idea of playing a 4-2-5 rather than a 4-3. Linebacker is going to be a little thin, and Otis Reese has the perfect build/skill set to play nickelback.
6. Our secondary might actually be really good this year. Reese and Finley are studs, Deane Leonard showed out in the bowl game, Jaylon Jones is a known commodity, and our depth guys are experienced.
LFG. See y'all in Atlanta.

Very surprised about Snoop, i suspect he will still get some substantial carries tho.

The only interesting thing on the offense is Snoop on 4th team and Wolfe is already 2nd team TE. I wouldn’t be surprised if Wolfe is starting before the season ends. I think outside of Reese,Finley, and Williams the defense will be rotating a lot based on match ups and the situation. Mingo being the punt returner is the most shocking thing on the depth chart.

Agreed. They are very high on Wolfe. Said is NFL potential is through the roof.

Has anyone heard anything about MJ Daniels? I had high hopes for him to get some pt at corner this year. He reminds me of what Derrick Jones could have been if he just stuck to defense. I swear after watching him play corner that year against Beckham and Landry I thought he was a 1st round corner. MJ Daniels has that same build, size and athleticism.

Tyrell Pigrome. That's a great name.

Korvic singlehandedly lost us the 2012 LSU game. Bo played out of his mind too.

He did his damndest in the 2013 LSU game too. We were up 24-14 with 13:39 in the fourth when he fumbled an LSU punt after trying to field it with his chest instead of his hands, which LSU promptly recovered at our 13 and punched in for a teeder.
Bo also played a tremendous game against LSU in 2013. 30/39, 346 yards, and another 18 yards on the ground.
