Very sound asleep
Only relevant and successful 9 out of the last 40 years, so be ready in case they wake up! I guess….
Tough to wake up when you face this every year I guess

Texas is the land of sleeping giants.

Will they wake up before 2025?

Well they are a sleeping giant. If they ever hired an elite coach they'd be unstoppable (after Sabath retires). The state of Texas produces the best HS recruits by far.

Arkansas has finished outside of the ap top 25 for 9 years straight

Those recruits don't stay in state.

Would you stay in state if your potential coach is Tom Herman, Charlie Strong or Steve Sarkisian? frick no.

I would say that A&M is stirring. Fully awake giant mode? No.
A&M is a a turning point this season. If they fall backwards and have another 3 loss season, I would agree with you.
If they however have 1 loss and end up playing after New Year’s Day, I would say two years constitutes being awoken.
Now whether we will be a big enough giant to take down other giants, is the real question. But the SEC is full of giants and most are fully awake.

Man. I would love a 3 loss season.

To be fair - not every program can just roll the ball out there and expect to beat the Big 12 Murderer’s Row of Kansas State, Iowa State, and Baylor

Y’all can take shots but what A&M like before Jimbo? Everyone said this about A&M - the resources are there, the talent is there, the commitment is there. It’s a only s matter of time before the wake up.
Your kidding yourself if you don’t think Texas could flip the switch and become a power. Starts on the trail, X’s and O’s dont mean dick without jimmies and joes

They have talent. They always do. They're like a little rich kid who has a garage full of nice tools he doesn't know how to use.
