Well they are a sleeping giant. If they ever hired an elite coach they'd be unstoppable (after Sabath retires). The state of Texas produces the best HS recruits by far.

ONE national title for the entire State of Texas since 1970

Baylor was quickly becoming A&M's daddy before they left the Big 12..That was when Art Briles first got rolling there...I'm thinking TCU would have raped you too...They feasted on some SEC teams ever once in a while, ask Ole Miss...

The amount of irony and just flat out delusion in this one statement is almost unimaginable

A&M is 68-31-9 against Bahlor all-time and Briles, the guy you SPECIFICALLY BROUGHT UP, was 1-3 against A&M.

Texas, on the other hand, has lost 5 out of their last 11 against Baylor.

Honestly, do you have someone with you that reminds you to breathe?

If the Big12 put Texas U. to sleep, then the SEC will put them in a coma, in ICU, on a vent. and putting the dancing pall bearers on speed dial.

To be fair - not every program can just roll the ball out there and expect to beat the Big 12 Murderer’s Row of Kansas State, Iowa State, and Baylor

Agreed. Lord knows the Aggies couldn't.

Imagine what Mississippi State would do if Oklahoma was the only decent team they played every year.

Miss State would most likely have a winning record against UTa over the last 15 years. About half of the SEC would, if not more than half.

I don't understand why all the Aggies are so nervously making all these threads about other teams records against Texas? Is it because your own record isn't that great?

I think he's just disputing a very objectively, demonstratively, false claim you made. The reality is actually the literal opposite of your claim.

Does it bother you when people call you on your bullshite?

And how would these records change if Texas had to deal with Alabama, LSU, Georgia, Florida, Tennessee and Auburn every year for the past 120 years instead of Kansas, Kansas St, Oklahoma St, Iowa St, Texas Tech and Baylor?

Texas has a 64% win percentage vs those teams you just listed, but keep talking your shite. We aren't ATM.

These are the words of Bryce Anderson’s father, according to a recruiting website. Again, these are the words of the current (not fifty years ago) environment. And it’s possible that he didn’t say this, or it was embellished, but I am going to assume it’s true as it seems legitimate.

"For like a month it was A&M and Texas came on hard and what kid doesn't like Texas and Austin? He was a hard Texas lean for about four months. He took that official June 4 to Texas A&M and they threw the kitchen sink at him and wowed him and at that point it was 50/50. What separated them was the stability of the Texas A&M program and where they are. The deciding factor for Bryce was the environment and culture Jimbo is building. We have nothing bad to say about Texas, they did everything right."

Didn’t anyone tell Bryce about how many natty’s Texas has? Didn’t they know y’all were Texas? Surely they knew how awesome Austin was? Didn’t he know about Sark? I mean he was from Bama! Surely he knew about the all time record! I mean 67%! The all time record would surely change his mind right?

No. What matters is now.

My point is none this this crap matters. It really doesn’t and I have submitted evidence of that above. What matters is where you are now.

They are the Big 12’s ole miss. Lots of cockiness and their fan base thinks they belong among the elite. But there just isn’t any actual evidence that they’re anything but a mediocre football program

We are 7-1 vs you guys, but you are right, we were never really that good. In fact, we have a winning record vs all of the traditional powers in your conference.

You seem have trouble delineating history (sometimes very ancient history) from observable trends when a divergence exists. I hope you don't have an analytical job that requires you formulate projections. You display what is almost similar to an "anchoring" bias.

Let's simplify this. Ballpark, what to you think Texas' winning % is their first 5 years in the SEC? Do you think they go to an SEC title game in 10 years? Do you think they win one? Honest questions.
