Great, so now Tennessee is claiming national championships when they didn't even win the conference?
#4 Tennessee beat #3 Texas in the Cotton Bowl
#1 Oklahoma lost to #7 Kentucky in the Sugar Bowl
#2 Army lost to Navy after the last poll was released

That’s why Florida’s all around the best athletic department in the SEC. Arkansas is second, and they’d be my pick to win it all in the big 3. I thought it would’ve been this year, but they UGA’d that shite up again.

53 Football National Titles
(14 of 21 since 2000)
Alabama, LSU, Florida, Auburn, Texas, Oklahoma
18 Alabama 1925, 1926, 1930, 1934, 1941, 1961, 1964, 1965, 1973, 1978, 1979, 1992, 2009, 2011, 2012, 2015, 2017, 2020
7 Oklahoma 1950, 1955, 1956, 1974, 1975, 1985, 2000
6 Tennessee 1938, 1940, 1950, 1951, 1967, 1998
4 LSU 1958, 2003, 2007, 2019
4 Texas 1963, 1969, 1970, 2005
3 Florida 1996, 2006, 2008
3 Ole Miss 1959, 1960, 1962
3 Texas A&M 1919, 1927, 1939
Um, Texas A&M has ONE football title in 1939. Any Longhorn knows that, and no true Longhorn would allow them to get away with claiming the others, much less post that falsified info themselves. So who are you really?

The formula for best all-around athletic department should be:
((# of AP/Coaches Poll football championships * .50) + (# of Basketball championships * .20) + (# of Baseball championships * .05)) / 3

Lol we have 3 schools that all claim 1950. I updated the OP. If anyone else sees a mistake, let me know.

We are not the best in the big 3, but we have 47 NCAA championships across all sports. 6th all time.

I did the math on this. It doesn’t take in to account a lot of other sports that make up an athletic department. The formula was a failure.

Just posting what each school claims.. the whole world knows they made that shite up.. You should review my other posts before you go down that road.

Well that would be a pretty easy calculation. Alabama wins.. Congratulations!

There is no big 3 sports. There is only one big sport and it is the reason you are joining the SEC.

Okay, allow me to fix it:
((# of AP/Coaches Poll football championships *.315) + (# of SEC football Championships * .20) + (# of Basketball championships * .15) + (# of Basketball regular season conference championships * .10) + (# of Basketball tournament championships * .05) + (# of Baseball championships * .05) + (# of Baseball regular season championships * 0.025) + (# of Baseball tournament championships *0.025) + (# of national championships in other sports * 0.075) + (# of regular season conference championships in other sports 0.01) + (# of regular season tournament championships in other sports * 0.01))/12

I don’t show that LSU claims this one. What say you my LSU overlords?

"LSU claims a national championship for the 1934–35 season, but not on the basis of any determination by an external selector or outcome of any contest purporting to determine a national champion."
