The fact OU has been actively trying to defend Texas against this strange SEC flex is wild. The Texas/OU hate will start flowing once UT figures out how to play football again but damn...I don’t like this newfound OU-Texas bromance one bit.

Last time LSU played OU we put up 49 points in the first half. That sets up a difficult precedent. Now we have to put up 56 the next time we play.

I don't know why some Texas fans are on here talking crap about Football, can we at least wait and see what Sark can do before we talk crap to our new SEC rivals?

I just want to thank the SEC for letting us in your conference, and re-instating our recruiting advantage in Texas, maybe making it better than ever before..Your decision booted the BIG, the ACC, and the PAC out of Texas to make it SEC territory, and you helped us rid ourselves of our pesky little brothers...You may have just created a Burnt Orange monster. Time will tell...

I'm no fan of the horns but that doesn't change the fact Texas is blue blood with trucks full of money. Every school has bad runs as well as good runs. So for the record, it is 12 55 and Texas still sucks.

Look you seem to be a decent poster, but you need to just admit you don’t know anything about CFb outside of the SEC. OU did win the conference and did it easily. The two losses came early in the year when OU and other teams were missing a lot of starters due to covid. There were a couple games they almost had to forfeit due to the roster number requirement the Big 12 used for covid. After the Texas game OU was healthy and looked like one of the best teams in the country.

I would argue that most of this "flex" on Texas has to do with them coming in here acting like they are the 2nd coming of Christ and acting like this transition is going to be a cakewalk. There have been a few douchey OU fans, but for the most part it's been fun banter. There have been very few Texas fans that have been reasonable in here. Oklahoma has earned respect from our conference in recent years and will mostly be treated as such. Texas though? Nah... We don't care about how rich the program is. We don't care that you all have a lot of history. Y'all going to take your lumps, and the over the top arrogance as our first interactions with your base is going to make it even more hostile for you all when you do. As I keep saying... come in, be grateful, be respectful, and be courteous. We are glad to have new fans in our conference as long as they're not asshats

Tough to argue with ignorance... OU did win the conference last year and the 5 before that.

year after that Florida was not expected to beat #1 OU and won 24-14 fairly easily.

Let’s get some things straight. First, pretty much all the espn talking heads didn’t give OU a chance.

The game was tied with 12 minutes left in the game. Tebow did finally wear us down in the fourth.

We moved the ball almost at will until we got into the five yard line. We didn’t have Demarco Murray which killed our goal line offense. Had we had him there is a good chance we extend a lead that Tebow could not have overcome.

There is no CFB outside of tSEC. As evidenced by your desire to join us.

But my mistake. Congrats on winning the Big 12 for the 6th year in a row. I am sure you did well in the CFP.

My bad. Congrats on winning the Big 12 six years in a row.

How did that work out in the big show? I am sure you did well in the 2020 CFP.
