No way the Hogs would agree to a pod with Ou and UT- we didnt join the Big12 for a reason. And Im pretty sure Aggie wouldnt agree to it , either.

It will be 2 divisions with Bama and Barn moving East and all the lil 12 fools with LSU, ARK, Miss, and State.

I think you are correct, a reporter at DAWGpost said he is hearing from UGA sources that PODS are out. Just watched it.

Pods are coming, it makes more sense, and allows teams to play each other every 4 years

Besides, even if the divisions stayed together Ark would still play Texas/OU every year.

I am not so sure about this. I have gone back and forth with it. But we have different leadership now then when we left. They might just do it. But I think it would be odd to not have us paired with at least one of the Texas schools and at least one SEC rival (Ole miss, LSU).

The smart way is no divisions/pods; just a single pool of teams. You can achieve the same things without the divisions with better results.

After we add UCLA, Oregon, Ohio State and UConn, we will have to have names for the pods.

This is exactly why I proposed the following earlier.

A : Texas, Aggy, Arky, Ole Miss

B : OU, LSU, Mizzou, Miss St.

Everybody gets both SEC and BIG12 matchups. Its not perfect but It never will be.

Outside pod annual matchups as follows:
Tex - OU
Ole Miss - State
ARK - Mizzou
LSU - A&M

As an Arkansas fan it would suck to not play LSU every year, but it is what it is.

3 permanent opponents, 9 conference games, you play home-and-home with every team at least once in a 4 year period and no rivalries have to be set aside to force pods or divisions into being.

This pods is best one almost 2 of each of the top teams are in a pod. That is fair.
Arkansas, Missouri, Oklahoma, Texas.

A&M, LSU, Ole Miss, Mississippi State.

Alabama, Auburn, Tennessee, Vandy.

Florida, Georgia, South Carolina, Kentucky.

How cute, you think anyone cares what little arky thinks.

If Texas is big brother and A&M is little brother, arky is the deformed inbred cousin

Absolutely. There won't be pods....in any conference. Bama and aub to the east and the sec (after seeing it doable last year with 12 games) will go to 10 conference games. This will keep the sec's best rivalries together and rotate east west division play more often.

The reality of the situation, no one is going to be 100% satisfied when the dust settles. I predict its going to be pods with one permanent match up. As confusing as it is to some its the system with the least impact. Something to remember permanent match-ups were a hair away from being dropped in the past and things are changing rapidly.

Also big OOC matchups are 100% dead.
