Legitimately is one of the funniest things I can ever remember. Dudes ran (hid?) from Texas for greener pastures…only to be cucked by their new league and Texas.

I Guarentee you 100% the people that matter at Texas a&m were kept in the loop and actually support this move. They are smart enough to know where collage athletics is heading and despite the headaches you can’t pass an opportunity like this. All this bs in my option is a dog and pony show to appease a certain portion of the fan base.

Read between the lines, the Texas A&M AD did not know what was going on, my guess is no other League AD new what was going on. But my guess is once Texas and OU's Presidents approached Sankey, the Presidents of the current 14 members was informed.
So if Texas A&M's former AD, President had what they though was some sort of deal with Slive, what was that deal. Might have been the SEC will not go after Texas. My guess, the SEC did not go after Texas, Texas and OU approached the SEC.

You can’t guarantee this, but certainly not impossible somebody there knew. Now at least their AD and Football coach find out when we all did.
No one at A&M wants this. Maybe they’ll save face at some point and come out in support but they were played and this is not what they want.
