Need to get Anderson/Thomas more involved on with jet sweep/motion to keep the defense honest since nussmeir is no threat to pull it and run in that zone play.

It should be pretty obvious this team is not making the post season. Do we just chalk it up to losing too much talent and give coaching a pass? I know questioning coaching is taboo to some but I personally think Johnson has put his team in bad spots trying to outsmart everyone with analytics. Curious to hear others thoughts.

People love to talk about great Jay was at Arizona but in six years he missed the tournament three years. Not sure if the guy knows how to sustain success. Personal opinion is he tries too hard to outsmart everyone he ends up outsmarting himself.

I know I’ll get downvoted but I have serious doubts about Jay. I know we won it all last year but that was one the back of two generational talents the likes we may never see again. Just don’t think the guy has it as a manager. Hes constantly outsmarting himself.

Daniels may be the best we have but he’s not any good. People are going to be suprised how much better the offense gets once someone steps up and replaces him.

O is the same person he’s always been. Recruiter, motivator, and manager. He’s never been a tactician and where he screwed up is insisting that moving to the even front was the way to go. Football is not played the way it was when Miami and usc were wrecking it back in the 90s/00s so thinking changing to that model was going to bring the same success will go down as one of the all time boneheaded moves in coaching. S&C and compliance are also issues but that’s for another thread.

I Guarentee you 100% the people that matter at Texas a&m were kept in the loop and actually support this move. They are smart enough to know where collage athletics is heading and despite the headaches you can’t pass an opportunity like this. All this bs in my option is a dog and pony show to appease a certain portion of the fan base.

Our players are better than state and Missouri. And they are better than the performance we saw tonight. I know it’s tough for some people to accept because he’s a great tiger but E can’t cut it and linehan was a terrible hire. I’m behind O but if he doesn’t make the necessary changes we will be talking about his buyout next year

Would like to see him move to DE and Jacoby to LB. I don’t think either one fit what they are being asked to do in this defense. May be too late for these kinds of moves though.
