I don't understand why Ole Miss fans care about this so much. Very little brother look about it.

1. State had a great season outside of a handful of games. They're a national seed. You're supposed to be rewarded with an easier path to Omaha. Ole Miss isn't in the conversation. You want an easier regional? Have a better season. If anyone had a gripe, it would be the 6 national seeds ahead of them.

2. Let's be honest. You're Ole Miss. You've lost much easier regionals on your home turf under Bianco.

3. Staying with that theme, the committee has a tough job figuring out these VCU, Campbell, etc. types of teams. They can't know which ones will suck in the postseason and which ones will end up being a Stony Brook, TN Tech, or Coastal Carolina. Most people thought all of those teams sucked too.

4. You still have to win. There have been a lot of wins by the no names this year (and every year). See Gainesville regional for instance. Everyone who gets out of their regional deserves props.

5. Get over yourself. You're Ole Miss. Need I remind you what OMAHA stands for?
