Coach Muss is at the bottom of the SEC if I read this correctly.

Now, I know this has changed some... especially with Bammy upping the pay of Oats...

But, where do we think Muss will be in the next few weeks? Middle of the pack? Upper pack... How much of a raise? Hope it is a good one WPS!

Muss has easily played himself into a $3.5 million/yr deal. I could even see up to $4 million or more if he hits certain incentives like a final 4 or Natty.

Either way, Hunter said last week that he doenst need any leverage from other teams because his leverage is that he kept winning. He also said he damn sure wouldn't be the 13th highest paid coach in the league anymore.

If I’m Muss I sit back until Oats gets his deal. Could go anywhere between 3.2 and 4 mil.

Oats already got his deal a month or so ago. 3.5 mil/yr with a $12 million buyout.

I suspect he is about to enjoy quite the pay raise if he stays at Arkansas. Which I expect him to.

Good grief some of those schools are getting taken to the cleaners considering the results. 3.25 - 3.5 is probably the sweet spot.

The floor is $3.5 ceiling is 4.5.

Probably a combination of both. Base of 3.5 with a mill of incentives.

Not sure if this is the right place to put this but how screwed are we if UNC names Muss as a top target?

Have we confirmed it's not an April Fool's joke yet?

If he is their top target? Probably very screwed but there are not signs of that

Probably Hubert Davis

That depends if he wants to go to NC and has a belief that he can have more success at a place like that than he would do here.

UNC hires their own.

Muss will not be high on their list.

Arkansas is a good enough job that it can make schools like NC harder to lure him over. Especially if Muss keeps winning like he is.

Also we need to take in account the absurd expectations at places like NC. An Elite eight season is nothing at a place like that while it was a great season here. He could be paid more money but the likely chance of getting burned is greater as well.

If it was up to me then I would stay here and the seasons like we had, you would be treated like a king. He can stay here and build this job as one of the best in America without the high expectations and will be paid big as well.

Also wife, children and family has a lot of input on job decisions.

Chump change. That's a slap in the face. Muss deserves at least 4.5 mill a year, probably more. We are a top 15 hoops program, it's time to start paying like one.

Agree, anything less than 4 is weak sauce.
