Where people get the notion he can't defend is beyond me because he shut down people in AAU GAMES then dominated them OFFENSIVELY.

No one has ever questioned his ability to defend, just his willingness. By all accounts he has all the necessary tools to be a really good two way player, but sometimes his focus on the defensive end comes and goes.

Efton Reid did end up committing to LSU, dang that's surprising to me, was thought his top 2 was FSU and Pitt, guess we know why he didn't commit the other day, LSU upped their offer.

LSU could end up with Tre Mitchell and Sahvir Wheeler too, if so they should be pretty good.

The SEC is gonna be a dogfight next year. We could(probably will) end up better than this year and still go 11-7 or 12-6 in conference

SEC is looking like it will be the best Bball conference this season.

@GoodmanHoops
Will Wade has landed a Top 20 recruit in Efton Reid and also one of the top transfers in Adam Miller in the past week or so.

That’s some strong-arse recruiting.

Ole Miss did this (coming in hot with $$$ at the 11th hour) repeatedly under Freeze. The big difference right now is that Ole Miss saw their recruiting fall apart under the cloud of the investigation while Wade hasn't really suffered from it very much. Likely because in basketball there isn't nearly as much downside to taking money to join a program that may be nuked at any time. Unlike in football if some 5* basketball recruit is declared ineligible early in his college career he can just go pro at 18-19 and start making a lot of money overseas or in the NBA. If some freshman football player is declared ineligible he's fricked.

Will Wade has made it abundantly clear he has zero respect or concern for the NCAA's rules regarding impermissible benefits. He's essentially daring them to stop him at this point.

I asked 10 top prospects which of their peers impressed them most at the Iverson classic. Lot of love for Nolan Hickman, Alabama commit JD Davison and others.

He's not a good enough Xs and Os coach to get hired by an NBA team, so if the NCAA gives him a lengthy show cause his career coaching high level basketball is effectively over. If they have dirt on him he's done. If they let him skate he might as well keep building the best team money can buy just in case.

Was there a box score for the game?

I saw some articles that had points scored but nothing else.

I grew up a die hard Magic fan. I've been to hundreds of their games, even saw them in game 1 of the 94/95 against the Rockets. But asi grew up, I began to hate the city of Orlando, and realized the owners are absolute scumbags. I pretty much quit watching basketball for a few years. Now, I just cheer for them to lose

I went to Orlando a week a month for about 3 years for business. Went to many Magic games with business partners, clients and referral sources. Started following the team pretty closely and I can see why it would be frustrating. They seem to trade all their good talent as soon as they start playing well.

I actually like Orlando. We always stayed in the Winter Park area. Traffic would become an annoyance if I was dealing with it everyday instead of a few days a month.
