I think what he was saying was that he used to buy players at Hoover as well and much of that money came from "Donations" from the Hoover Police Dept...which got all of its money from interstate drug busts.

All this really is is audio of Rush trying to con this guy. He's actually asking the guy for money.
He's probably done it hundreds of times and the stories are probably always different. He goes to the owner of Billy Bob Ford or Ma and Paw General Store and make them feel they are a part of a larger college football booster network when in actuality they're making payments on Rush's 2nd mortgage. All it costs him is a fairytale or two. And it's worked for him.
To the guy's credit, it doesn't look like he fell for it.

People who keep saying this tell everyone they didn't read the deposition.
According to the witness, they had no intention of hiring Propst. The testimony given was that they fired the old coach because movers and shakers wanted a black coach then failed to secure the one they thought they could get or any other. Again, according to the testimony, Propst ended up being the last man standing.

All this is, is Propst peddling war stories 2nd, third and fourth hand accounts, trying to extort money for his phone bill and mortgages from local idiots like he has always done. This buffoon wasn't involved in anything regarding chubb. He's scum and just telling versions of stories to line his own pockets.

When he names Hugh Nall, I became a believer. Nall was Tubbs OL coach. After Auburn Nall retired from coaching and went into the peanut business. Still knows how to run a bagman network no problem.
