It’s nice after Mike’s teams would constantly get you pumped up just in time to watch them fall apart. Deep down I keep waiting for the team to revert back to its horrific early conference form just because that type of regression is the only story I know. Obviously there are highs and lows in basketball but I hope we’re over the days of experiencing three to four extreme highs and extreme lows per season.

Muss knows how to prepare a team.

Combine that with the maturity of Smith and Moody (not age...just court maturity) and the level of talent across the board on this team and you hafta like our chances for a deep run.

Seeding and matchups matter a lot, but nobody is going to be eager to play Arkansas.

Stay healthy....that's the one thing that could ruin us.

Anything can happen but a team that hasn't played in two months cannot be in any kind of shape to play a team like Arkansas.

A win is a win. Showed a lot of guts at the end to grind it out. Great finish to the regular season

I was going to congratulate some aggies on a good game but one mentioned piggies haven't been to a sweet sixteen this century. So they can go aggie on at home during the tournament.

I think it was advantage for them and played the best game all year. I really thought we would lose this game in the second half as the turd games of Mike Anderson still lingered.

I did as well... This team is clutch and never gives up, in, or out.

Seeing the last three plays over and over in my head is delicious...

The spacing, planning, athleticism... awesome!

I actually think it would have been beneficial to lose the game. That way Muss could preach about always bringing effort and focus.

I have no doubt he can and still will do that

Also, you don't want that game to be your wake up call in a loss, maybe at USC or 1st round of the SECT but an A&M loss would have dropped us alot in terms of seeding.

They floundered down the stretch. When we cut it to 3 before half, I wasn’t that worried.

They shot 50% and 43%. That will keep you in any game.

I don't want to lose this game and the next one in the SEC tournament to end the year. Two losses in a row would deflate a very good season. I just got Mike Anderson vibes from this game but this team keeps proving me wrong.

Mike not elevating his coaching staff killed him. I see Pittman doing the opposite of mike hiring young recruiters so fix that problem. Muss has the advantage of Arkansas producing local talent in bball vs football
