I disagree with this guy
I have no dog in this fight but the QB situation at Auburn is interesting from a pure football point of view. It got GM fired. IMO he's a poor player and bad character & integrity example for the rest of the team.
Can Bobo fix Nix? I say no.

There are a lot of things that got Gus Malzahn fired, and having Bo Nix isn’t one of them.
Maybe invest in recruiting OL talent. Bryan Harsin just recruited and signed the first HS OT since 2017 for Auburn. Read that again. Auburn has guards playing tackle, defensive tackles playing guard, and OL players that aren’t SEC caliber in general.

Bo Nix is a below average running back who throws the ball well for a running back.
As a QB, he sucks arse and is a horrible passer. Ive never seen so many skipped dump off passes to the flat. Not sure how Bobo is going to fix that.

Bo Nix sucks end of story. If his dad wasn't at Auburn before him he wouldn't be the starter. Other than his running ability he is just not a good passer.

Bo Nix is from Pinson Valley, of course he blows.

He's not an honorable man - and the team knows it. Supporting & loving a child you fathered determine character. Nix failed in this most important endeavor.

Take a look at our roster and you tell me who the starter would’ve been if Pat Nix hadn’t been an Auburn QB. He was a 5* recruit coming out of high school. Take that as you will, but on paper there wasn’t anybody even close and he was probably the highest rated QB we’ve ever signed.
He needs some real coaching and development and he may never live up to his recruiting ratings, but I’ll withhold final judgement until I see him under Bobo and Harsin.

Wow...I knew AU struggled recruiting the OL under Gus but wasn’t aware of that. Curious, I know Gus is ultimately responsible, but how were his OL coaches as recruiters?
As for Bo Nix, Harsin has a good history for developing QBs so y’all should get a pretty good read on Nix this year...

Nix has been a nervous wreck trying to QB behind that oline. And until The new crew can bring in SEC level line, he’ll never get comfortable in the pocket and set his feet to deliver a smooth pass.

Just as soon as Harsin can get Bo to play at the level that Bo believes he plays at then things will be fine.
