Coaches taking on lesser jobs

The Gus thread got me thinking...
It must be hard for coaches going from a program like Auburn to UCF where you don’t have unlimited resources, the recruiting game is a lot harder since you go from recruiting 5 and 4 stars to go out recruiting a bunch of 2 and 3 star guys. Yeah, he’ll land an occasional 4* or something but it must be difficult now you can’t say hey, we’ll never be in the CFP but come play for me.
Some other examples
Les miles from LSU to Kansas
Freeze from ole miss to liberty
Strong from texas to USF
Any others? I’m sure I’m missing a ton.

Better off going to a UCF type school in a state loaded with talent, than a high expectations place like Nebraska that has very little.

Gus wasn’t fulfilled at Auburn and if you watched his press conference, he seemed way happier and new at UCF. Why? We consider our program the future of college football. And so does he.

Well, normally I hate your posts but you're not wrong. You're administration actually does a great job with its hiring. Of course some cry babies will say, "well they only stay a few years". Who gives a frick, winning and recruiting leads to more winning and recruiting. You hired Gus Malzhan, a proven winner in the SEC. Say what you want, but he won games, even some big one. We hired fricking Shane Beamer and a bunch of sandlot coaches.
