He is actually looking pretty good. Staying in the pocket, taking hits and making plays.

Have to admit Mond normally does do a very good of protecting the ball.
If he keeps playing like this today he may make himself a big pile of money.

I don't think he'll be a starter but he could be a backup guy like McCarron and make tons of money.

I doubt the guys like Daniel Jeremiah, louis ruddick, and even kiper and mcshay would be that far from what the teams think of mond.
I think they have him behind the top 4 qbs ,then you have mac jones and trask.
I'd be surprised if he goes before any of those guys besides maybe trask.

I'm not sure how to take A&M fans being convinced that his replacement will be better than him. Most of the cases of "we'll be better when the backup gets the job" don't turn out that way.

I think this is a good comparison. Mond may have a slightly higher ceiling but he is a game manager type QB.
