I found this post by another member and had to repost it. This is so true when comparing the 2019 LSU Team to the 2020 Bama Team

A1abana’s brutal 2020 schedule:
(3-7) Arkansas
(3-7) Tennessee
(4-7) Mississippi State
(4-6) Kentucky
(5-5) Missouri
(5-5) LSU
(5-5) Ole Miss
(6-5) Auburn
(7-1) Ohio State
(8-4) Florida

That’s 77% of the gauntlet - a combined 50-52

The other 23% was equally BRUTAL.

(8-2) UGAy w/ future accountant Stedman Bennett
(9-1) A&N w/ future 7th rounder Keller Mond
(10-2) Notre Dame w/ future librarian Ethan Books

*Note: those three teams were outscored by 102 points in their 5 combined losses (-20.4 ppg)

Wow. And did I mention the 3 week bye in November? That must’ve made things super tough!

LSU Tigers
Aug. 31 Georgia Southern
Sept. 7 at No. 6 Texas
Sept. 14 Northwestern State
Sept. 21 at Vanderbilt
Sept. 28 Bye Off
Oct. 5 Utah State
Oct. 12 No. 9 Florida
Oct. 19 at Mississippi State
Oct. 26 No. 16 Auburn
Nov. 2 Bye Off
Nov. 9 at No. 1 Alabama
Nov. 16 at Ole Miss
Nov. 23 Arkansas Baton
Nov. 30 No. 11 Texas A&M
Dec. 7 No. 5 Georgia
Dec. 28 No. 4 Oklahoma
Jan. 13 No. 3 Clemson

Didn't you hear? No team will ever match what Bama did, so Bama 2020 is the GOAT.

Well if they had played creampuffs and less SEC games their records would have been better.

How did they do against Northwestern State, Utah State, Vanderbilt and Georgia Southern?

That's the true test for a champion.

Fake news. It isn't even a novel look at the debate.

Its been discussed and argued from all angles for and against. Who cares? Both seasons are behind us and neither of those teams will ever play another down.

The hypotheticals and nonsense comparisons of two things that can't be adequately compared is beyond old at this point.

If there were decent discussion on the matter, it would be one thing. But, it will forever devolve into an endless troll, counter-troll, response thread, repeat cycle.

2021 CFB is coming. Let's just move on

Steals a post from another poster and doesn't even credit the poster. And it isn't even a good post. This board always goes to shite during the offseason.

Get this man a coat.

Wow, I didn’t realize they faced a Clemson like regular season. Without a doubt this removes Bama from the debate.

take 3 out of conferrence rent-a-wins on all of those teams and see what you get. So at least 2 people (you and the retard who's post you think is so great) are too dumb to understand that when you play an all conference schedule, all the wins and all the losses have to come from within the conference.

When we finally did play out of conference games, our bottom feeders beat some of the better teams from other conferences. Your post is retarded and you should feel bad about yourself.

In 2019 LSU’s opponents feasted on cupcakes. That wasn’t an option in 2020.

UK was 5-6. Won Gator Bowl. Plus since you are trying to make a point about Alabama having a weak schedule shouldn't you give the other team's records without the loss to Alabama? You are using the fact that Alabama beat these teams to make them look worse.

So "weak" part of schedule was 51-42
strong part of schedule was 27-2

Ohio State and Texas A&M would have been undefeated if it weren't for losses to Alabama.

Bama beat 6 teams that won Bowl Games against ranked opponents.
