That is a really solid hire. For a guy nobody knew, Byron Harston is turning out to be quite the shrewd dude as the head coach

I am kind of excited about this hire. From that clip the linemen should have some fun. Yeah your working your butt off but you coach is keeping you entertained..it makes the pain of going through it easier...also he may attract more D-Linemen that he knows what you need to get in the league and should be great on the recruiting trail...

Harsin seems to know what he is doing. It's nice to have a professional AD hire a good coach.
Best part is you don't win at a place like Boise without the ability to scout talent.

especially when he can flash that Super Bowl ring he got when he played for my Steelers.
He also played in the 3-4 defense w Steelers but also the 4-3, so he's familiar with coaching it too.
Better hire than ROcker. Wonder if this was a DC reccomendation to Harsin?
And wonder why Rocker was first choice?
