I actually thought it was a pretty good hire considering where you guys are as a program. I was thinking more of a App State or Sisters of the Poor head coach.

I guarantee you, whoever it is will be better than Jeremy Pruitt.
Every single candidate with the exception of Kevin Steele, is almost a shoe in to be better than Pruitt. I understand that may not be enough.
All I can say is this...
You watched JP and JG for 3 years...you can watch this other guy for however long he will be here, for better.
It's just good that our university is trying to do better. You have to give them credit for that.
I like the conference landscape moving forward, regardless of who we hire.
At some point you just have to accept you're a Tennessee Vol fan, because it's almost not a choice. So cheers to whoever the new coach is, and looking forward to Signing day and Spring Ball.

He had a win over Florida, two wins over Georgia, and two of his losses to Georgia were by only 3 points each. Yeah, 2017 was a shitshow, but those first four years things seemed to be moving in the right direction. The level of hatred that Vol fans have toward Butch is hard to figure out. Most Vol fans would give their left nut right now for Butch's 3rd or 4th season.
