To be so blunt in public admitting “the scope of the actions”. They are not even giving the NCAA a chance to let them off with a slap on the wrist. They are begging to be nailed.

I say they realized they were so far behind their plan is to bring down UGA and Bama with them. Then try to be the first to reconstruct from the dump. They will probably provide the NCAA with plenty of dirt on others. Likely worst shite than what they are reporting on themselves.

They're begging for mercy. The NCAA already has them.

They don't want to pay out for multiple prior coaches.

Tennessee should have said that their self-imposed penalties included keeping Jeremy Pruitt on as head coach for another three years. The NCAA would have probably considered that worse than any punishment they could hand out.

Sounds like they’d rather save money than concentrate on winning football games.

Something is fishy. Pruitt could have just shown up for work and lost every game and got paid.... instead he cheats his arse off knowing they'll fire him and not pay him?

Something doesnt add up with that. Oh and Phillip did nothing wrong...?

What do ya wanna bet Fulmer told Pruitt to start buying players or he would get canned... all with the plan of turning him in so he could fire him with cause.

Donde Plowman sounds spanglish for "where's the farmer?"

Random thought that just skittered across my mind seeing her name

Pruitt would sue for sure if this is anywhere near true.

This is all hilariously silly. This is exactly what it looks like. They're firing a lot of people on the periphery, including Phil Fulmer "resigning," and the sanctions in the offing will be far more crippling long term that another 2-3 years of Jeremy Pruitt.

They're caught dead to rights. Simple as that.

Those assistant coaches know the deal and they will tell who told them to pay recruits and who supplied the money. The only question is was JP involved. Some boosters are about to get busted and I hope all the players that took the cash get whacked as well. F um all.
