I truly don’t understand what is in it for the Mississippi schools and Arkansas. There’s no way they can compete recruiting wise with the new blood. Why weaken your recruiting pitch by increasing the number of SEC teams. Unless this is just is just about a few extra bucks then carry on.

Not even close to true. Longhorn fans hate A&M in a magnitude greater than the Sooners. Not even close.

The Longhorns were the reason the series ended with the split from the Big XII. Not even sure that is debatable.

Texas A&M’s home schedule is rock solid while the Longhorn’s has the consistency of applesauce. Texas A&M doesn’t need the game. The Longhorns do. It seems rather simple to me. Do I think that the high end talent leaving the state would be more likely to stay in-state if the game was played? Yes I do, but that in and of itself isn’t a reason to play the game.

I think the solution to making college football is reducing scholarships to 75 and limiting annual additions to 20. Would work better than expanding the Playoff which I am also in favor of.

I expect the defense to be better. Specifically, the pass rush and secondary play both should be better. Offensively I see Haynes King being willing to throw deep more often than Mond ever would. Mond seemed to avoid the middle of the field even when he threw downfield. I expect more interceptions and more touchdowns. Will be more exciting than this years offense.
