I have said before that I kind of doubt Tua will ever be as good as he was his first year and half at Alabama, before the injuries started taking a toll, physical and mental.

all the injuries notwithstanding, he's the career leader in pass efficiency

It's nice that people are coming around to the truth. When I said it after Clemson beat Alabama in 2018, everyone said I was dumb and butthurt. But even in that game, I saw a total of 1 pass that I thought was the QB. The rest of it was scheming by Clemson and the abuse of Savion Smith.

And of course, when it comes to Tua, I've been off his bandwagon for awhile now. Alabama fans hate me for it, as they blame the defense for losing to LSU in 2019, but it was all Tua.

There is no vertical RPO in the NFL.

Yep. The game is extremely slanted towards the offenses right now, and I'm certain it's a product of that rather than just the best QBs ever.

It's a pattern that really started about 20 years ago. If you look at all time QB numbers, the top20 is pretty much all recent QBs.
