I'm skeptical he can perform at a high level with limited conditioning. This would be all risk, low reward for both him personally and Alabama. If he dresses out, they may get him in briefly for a symbolic appearance

I think it’s unlikely that he actually plays.

Good for him. Hard to believe he could perform anywhere near 100%, but being able to suit up and get on the field at all will mean a lot to him.
