When trevor Laurence wins the Heisman based on his career instead of the best player this year ,who's smith or jones.
I really hope that doesnt happen,seriously.
It would piss me off if I was a bama fan,hell,it may piss me off as an lsu fan.not counting my chickens before they hatch on that though .lol
It really could happen and I wouldnt be shocked.

He’s like +700 so I doubt it.
Anyone giving their 1st place vote to a guy with all around worse stats solely based off of name recognition and draft status should lose their vote. Their votes literally could have been cast before the season using that logic

The Heisman is the most over hyped award in football. It still doesn't even go to the best player. It goes to the best rb or QB on a top 10 team.

Why would that piss bama fans off? I would be happy for Jones/Smith but it wouldn't make me pissed. I'm not the one playing. It's not like Lawrence is a trash player. Any of the finalists deserve it whoever wins it.

Rather see devonte win it and he should. Show people that staying for senior year really can put you at the top and pays off. Could teach our lsu players a thing or two.

Hmm... I think that would be wrong if they picked Lawrence (would just motivate the hell out of Alabama to beat the ever loving shite out of Clemson). But I seriously doubt that will happen.

Not upset. Perhaps sad for those two kids. Whether this team wins it all it takes hime all the awards or not I think they’ll always be special to us Bama fans. They are just a special group of kids. Anyone who saw the post game interview with Smitty and Jones and didn’t find both of them to be fantastic individuals are just hating because of who they play for.
