Was honestly worried about Sark leaving. Not because I fear what he'd do at AU, but because a coordinator taking a HC gig always seems to happen in the postseason for Bama. Would love it if he stuck around long term and took over for Saban in a few years.

Is he HC in waiting? You’ve got to assume Saban is close to done unless he wants to go the Bowden route.

True, but that's an awful lot. $1 mil more than any other asst. coach in the country I believe.
