Has anyone figured out why Kiffin faked the injury In Saturday’s game with LSU? It was so oblivious he was telling the guy to get on the ground unawhere the camera was focused on him during the episode . What was the advantage of him pulling this stunt ? I’m surprised the SEC league office hasn’t called him out on this !!

Because it isn't against any rules !!

I got nothing against fracking.

Trying to buy his hopeless defense a few minutes rest.

Every team does this, it’s not some kind of secret.

Literally almost everyone does it... Including LSU

Clearly it was to buy his defense a few extra minutes, as it happened right after LSU had a long drive and Ole Miss had just run the kickoff back. Juxtapose that to when LSU's defense was totally gassed, O and E were running tempo and snapping the ball as quickly as possible. It will be interesting what the SEC office does, if anything. Its not a good look to have a coach on camera explicitly telling his player to fake an injury.

It had literally no impact on the game whatsoever

Stunt? This was not a behavioral issue. It was a calculated move for a reason. I did not follow on what it was but it was not a "stunt." Every team in CFB does this.
Notice how many LSU DL went out of the game and couldnt walk off the field only to return 10 min later after they had caught their breath. Logan and Farrell both did it.
Can you imagine what the scores would be if teams were flagged for this? Defenses across the country are already at a disadvantage to the HUNH.

LSU wins. LSU melts.
LSU loses. LSU melts.
As predictable as the sun rising in the east and setting in the west, LSU will post-game melt.

But there is a difference when a camera catches the coach and his assistants ordering the player to fall down and then the player does the soccer flop. We all know teams do it and are coached to do it, but I have never seen it done so blatantly. Not sure if anything can be done, but that was bad.

I'm going to need one of you Aggie or LSU oil guys to explain to me how you frack an injury.

Do you think he just did it for shits and giggles? His defense had just come off the field after an 86 yard drive and had to go right back out after Ole Miss returned the kickoff for a touchdown.

We all know everyone does it . But they Don,t advertise it on National TV as Kiffin did ! Keep doing that so blatantly and there will be some kind of rule in place !

Your players did it during the game too. You’re too blinded by fandom to realize it

it couldn't have been worse than UF last night. Seems like one of their defensive players was "injured" after every play in the 4th quarter.

He just means the optics of that particular occasion especially.
