It's the only SEC game between two ranked teams this week.

This is how ESPN decided the quality of games

1. LSU (3-5) @ #6 Florida (8-1) (7:00 ET) [ESPN]
2. #1 Alabama (9-0) @ Arkansas (3-6) (12:00 ET) [ESPN]
3. Auburn (5-4) @ Mississippi State (2-6) (7:30 ET) [SECN]
4. #9 Georgia (6-2) @ #25 Missouri (5-3) (12:00 ET) [SECN]
5. Tennessee (2-6) @ Vanderbilt (0-8) (4:00 ET) [SECN]

Is it just me or does this scheduling make no sense?

Something may change. CBS lost Ags/Rebs at night so things may get reshuffled?

Saving the premiere game for primetime.

Yea it should be the best game on the board and they schedule the shite UT/Vandy game at 4

Probably some agreement with CBS so they won't lose Army-Navy viewers.

IMO it should be:

1. LSU vs Florida 8:00 CBS (because it’s a rivalry game)
2. Georgia vs Mizzou 7:00 ESPN
3. Alabama vs Arkansas 12:00 ESPN
4. Auburn vs Mississippi State 7:30 SECN
5. Tennessee vs Vanderbilt 4:00 SECN

Because no one likes Mizzy and even fewer like UG.

LSU FL is sorta a rivalry
Bama is the number 1 team in the nation so a national draw

Auburn and State doesn’t matter
Vandy is going to cancel

UGA @ Mizzuo isn’t very compelling but wouldn’t do well at 330 against a potential TAMU tOSU on CBS.

CBS doesn't wanna show that on prime time plus they have Army-Navy earlier and screw playing up at Mizzou at 7 in December. It'll be cold enough at noon

You want the truth or a lie? Ok, the truth is we both suck, so we get a noon game.

Dude Mizzou is the 11 time spot King, always has been no matter how shitty or good the team is doing.

Agreed. Should be flexed into prime time.

Its the only SEC game with 2 ranked teams,

You wanna see another Bama blowout or UF run up the score on LSU?

Hopefully none of our players have NFL dreams if they think 35 degrees is cold.

We play Illinois in Basketball Saturday Night. Both games are at home, and I believe some gameday staff will be working both games.

I think this was the compromise time, so you do not have them back to back or at the same time. What I heard, which seems to make sense.

I think occasionally ESPN needs to put decent matchups on SECN so they can justify charging whatever they charge for ads. It also helps sell packages that contain the SECN (e.g. I upgraded my cable package a few weeks ago to catch the UK-Bama game because I hate those streaming sites).
