I hate the faking injuries, reminds me of soccer. That said almost everyone has or does do it, including Mizzou yesterday.

You mean a Gus disciple would resort to such high school tactics? Shocked.

Football should adopt a rule from soccer. If a guy goes down, just let the action continue 11 on 10. That will stop that shite.

Just drag him off the field. Problem solved.

Of course, if the offense is good enough, they will score anyway, and if the defense is good enough, they will stop the other team.

Fake injuries in SEC games used to make me so angry when Heupel was our OC. Then it kept happening game after game in the SEC and I realized that up tempo will never work in the SEC because no rules were ever put in place and no team ever got in trouble for it. Once you realize that you have to change your offensive approach. Barry Odom should have warned Briles about it, but I guess he didn't. Now Mizzou benefited from it and I smile because we were them.

Run a gimmick offense, expect a gimmick defense

I hate them. But it seems everyone in the SEC does it.

If you lose 50-48, you probably have some pressing concerns besides your opponent faking injuries on defense.

But muh uptempo offense.

Use a timeout or the next play is 11 on 10.
I could get behind that. Better than 10 second run offs.

I may be forgetting someone, but I legit can't remember a Bama player doing it. I don't think Saban's wired that way.

Same here with Georgia. maybe it has happened, but I don't remember it. In fact, I only remember two. And Auburn player against Arkansas and then this one(s) from this game. (Mizzou/Arkansas)

I’ve yet to see UGA do this

It happens a lot because the purpose of fake injuries is to slow the momentum of the offense.
It is like giving out free timeouts.

Arkansas is always fabricating fake injury claims when they lose
Anthony Swain had a serious medical emergency and barely made it and Arkansas tried to make it into a controversy. They're just bad folks.
