Were you not around? That's all State fans said. Mullen is different. He wants to build it here. His wife hates it there. No chance. He's a lifer. blah blah blah.

I remember it being more along the lines of he was always rumored to go there when the job opened up but never got offered, so why now, and no one believing Florida would actually offer him. I also remember it being a big pissing match between Ole Miss and State fans. Was awhile ago, don't really remember all the details at this point.

Mullen would not leave Florida for Texas - that is a step down. Also, he'd cause havoc with Texas soft roster. Those kids would straight up revolt. Everyone in the transfer portal within weeks

Mullen did wonders with less talent at MSU. You give me that big 12 schedule? Riley, gundy, aranda? LOL let’s go!

This may come as an absolute shock to you but Florida is a substantially better job than MSST.

Texas is a literal lateral move, except he'll be building yet another wrecked program after having recruited the best Quarterbacks he's ever had (as an HC). I guess if they paid him an absurd amount of money, but he's already got a shite ton of that and a super long leash at Florida.

Especially after he got us to the SEC CG when we were fearing if we'd bowl or not before he got here.

I am not giving my opinion. I gave that last page (Mullen wants a raise) I am stating what State fans did.

Highly doubt he leaves for Texas but if he does I don’t think UF would have a hard time finding another good HC willing to take over the roster we’ll have next season.

Stop. We better pay the man.

That’s called Mullens agent doing his job and getting him a raise. His raise better come with a firing Grantham stipulation.

I don't think it's likely but I wouldn't put the chances at zero.

Leave a better program in playoff contention with stacked athletes and a lot of autonomy as HCs go for (1) a terrible one (2) with no athletes, (3) boosters with completely unrealistic expectations, (4) a whiny and entitled fanbase, (5) politicians meddling in the affairs of the athletic department, (6) a terrible city that is the #1 destination for dip shite Californians to move to currently (just ask Joe Rogan), (7) no chances of playoff contention in the near future (unless they dominate every team all season) because it competes in a shite conference, and (8) to directly compete in recruiting with Jimbo Fisher, probably one of the best three recruiters in the country and currently at the helm of a top 5 team in playoff contention.

How about another theory? Chip Brown is a fricking pathetic loser who lost the respect of the entire Texas fanbase years ago during conference realignment. He has no contacts. He's just lying. Much simpler explanation. He's trying to monetize the potential coaching change for himself because the pennies he will make off the clueless simps who actually pay him to lie to their faces will sustain Chip for another four years until UT fires the next kid kisser who blows through the doors.

There is no way that Mullen could:

1. go to an sec doormat
2. Get it to number 1
3. Bring it back to losing to gt.
4. Go to uf
5. Scare the shite out of Uga fans.
6. Beat that absolute dogs hit out of uga.
7. Get uf back to a top 10 program.
8. Then leave for a top 5 program in Texas. **

** this may trigger. But once the right coach is there, Texas will own that garbage league that aggy couldnt even win in.

Wouldn’t be the first time a coach left a program in Florida for a program in Texas after football players banged his wife.
