The garbage OL and his team playing from behind so often and leaning on him to drop back caught up with him. He took freaking 10 hits against Pit last week. Joe’s pocket awareness is already excellent but the amount of hits he was taking were just not sustainable. There has to be a hit collection out there somewhere of how many just free rusher shots he took.

You got to let the kids play to get better but I’ve said the entire time after the first game they need to sit him this year until they bash spend big in the draft and $ to get a new OL. Kid was thrown to the wolves.

Hope he gets better soon, and that it isn't serious...

Are we arguing about which sec team's fans say the most mean things when another team's player has an injury yet?

Getting drafted by the Bengals is about as bad as getting drafted by the Browns. Ohio is like NFL QB purgatory. His lack of o-line has been getting him destroyed all year.

I hope he is ok, but it doesn't look good.

This is one reason why no matter how good he is, I rarely believe in starting a rookie QB. If the pieces aren't around him (especially OL), you're setting them up for something like this.

He should've never agreed to sign there. He def should refuse to suit up unless traded. They've been letting him get dry humped up and down the field all season. If he goes back they'll end his career in 3 season.

First thing I wish to say is that this sucks. Joe B. is tough and I wish him a speedy recovery. As for the Tua thing. He did get injured a lot in college this is true. Tua did play hurt and I don't question his toughness and it seems to fair to question him being in the game where he had his final injury at Bama. A few LSU posters did seem to delight in his injuries but the vast majority were not like this. Since there are so many LSU posters on here, it is important to remember that they will have more dbags because of sheer numbers. Anyway, the thing about being the best player in college is that you usually go to the worst team. Hopefully Cincy drafts/trades Burrow some protection, this is what he needs to be successful.

That sucks - Joe is a helluva player and competitor. I'm sure he'll be back.

All the replies to this and most from opposing fans. Thanks for being so kind. I root against you like you do against us. Joe seems like a guy that opponents hate but love.
Makes me respect fans in general.

I was watching the game when he was injured...one of those plays where you know it’s bad right away before replay (CBS thankfully didn’t show the replay).
He was having a hell of a game...he’s a gamer and a hell of a QB. His former tOSU teammate Chase Young was visibly upset on the field. Hoping for a full and speedy recovery

Hoping for a speedy and successful recovery for large penis Joseph Burrow.

He's a damn good QB and seems like a good dude.
