I still think LSU can be top 5...but you have to get the in-state guys that you have to get.

What positions does LSU need help in right now?

RB? Etienne is at UGA.

DB? Jacoby Mathews is wherever he is.

Just seems like historically, there are always 1 or 2 difference makers from LA who went elsewhere that left LSU just a little short. NIL needs to make sure those guys don't get away.

Does the ‘no fakeness” imply that LSU coaches are fake?

This crosses a line for me.

That's kind of where I'm leaning. Have fun, enjoy the process, get your money. But respect matters, and this is disrespectful. BK will handle it how he chooses, but this borderline personal.

gaslighting

That's exactly what it is.

There's nothing wrong with wanting to take visits and see other places. There's nothing even wrong with wanting the best deal.

But when you take to social media to blame coaches for you wanting the best deal, that's textbook throwing rocks and hiding your hands.

Terrell Allen from Tenn St. Ranked #13. 43 solos + 13.5 sacks in '23.

My Alma mater. He is a huge fan favorite! He had about a 5 game stretch where teams had no answer for him; and we were actually pretty deep on the defensive line. Brandon Fisher (Jeff's son) and Clyde Simmons (Philadelphia Eagles legend) are the DC and DL coach respectively, so he's been well-coached. Obviously the key will be whether he can stand up to a SEC running attack for 3 downs; but I would not bet against him.

We played Notre Dame the 1st game, so you can see him matched up some with 2nd rounder Blake Fisher.

Start with a phone conversation to see if there's mutual interest.

If so, then comes the uncomfortable conversation where BK and staff asks questions and sets expectations. At whatever point an understanding can't be reached, you cut ties. If the kid shows some accountability, he may be worth the 1 year rental.

Oregon will be a second tier team in the BiG 10

Who all do you have in the first tier? Because honestly, if we look at this past year, Michigan beats Oregon, but I think Oregon possibly beats Ohio State and I just don't trust Penn State in a meaningful game. Anyone else in the league would've gotten waxed.

Would he be a preferred walk on since his dad is an employee and tuition is covered?

This would be the likely and ideal scenario.
Depends on the situation. It's not ideal, but sometimes it needs to be done.

Ex. Auburn 2019

I liked Gus, but that was absolutely a natty caliber defense. There's no way I'm trotting out true freshman Bo Nix at QB and basically wasting that defense, I don't care who his daddy was.

I probably wouldn't "go after him"...but if he calls the staff and says "I want to come home", he's absolutely a take.
Sankey and the league would have blackballed the hell out of him if he'd said the opposite.

I agree.

But this is now 2. In the SEC.

Pass like Magic Johnson.
I've always said, the football competition in LA is higher than most other places. As a result, I'll trust a high 3-star kid from LA more than I'll trust a 4-star from somewhere that doesn't have the level of talent and competition.
Former Auburn DT Marquis Robinson is also at Jones JC in MS; he was class of 21.

I don't think he has fully recovered from injury or at a minimum, is not in game shape. He looks tentative.

This.

Medicine has advanced a lot over time, but that still was a major injury that takes time. And it's just as difficult to mentally recover than it is to physically recover.

Yep. He's at East MS JC and will have 3 years. Not great stats so far, but as an in-state kid he's almost a must get at this point.

We need some DTs. Like bad. Wingo and Smith are gone after this year. Both will probably leave early. If they do, we're in deep shite at DT next year.

All the DTs will be leaving Texas A&M in a couple of months LOL
Yeah, he definitely looks like a legit prospect.

Him too
