A little too late Kirby, but maybe JT was hurt all along

Dwan is probably still the front runner since he started out ahead.

I just can't imagine starting Dwan after that performance Saturday. Either Daniel or Beck has to be better

I still feel like they're just using Daniels as a decoy. I'll believe he plays a down when I see it.

Here is my question if one of them plays well and wins the game easily does CKS stick with him or go back to his feel good story Bennett

I hope Kirby gives JT and Beck all the PT Saturday. I bet he doesn't.

I’ll believe it’s JT Daniels when he trots out there
And then Kirby will have a lot to explain.

I hereby promise not to criticize Kirby Smart if JT Daniels starts and plays well if Kirby Smart promises to play JT Daniels the remainder of the season.

With the film he had on Daniels, I just can not imagine Smart didn’t want him playing unless there was something significant such as health, discipline, or playbook.

Kirby has a flaw in his communication to the media. Even Saban gives more details related to his QB situations, a la Tua and Hurts.
Not saying you have to divulge a whole lot, but when you say nothing and then the plan backfires behind the scenes, it makes it look exponentially worse.
If he were more upfront about certain things, the media and fans would be a bit more understanding when issues arise.
I.E. If he said JT just can't play right now, we would accept it but dig further on WHY.
I.E. If he said Beck can play but hasn't picked up the playbook and is not ready, we would get it.
P.S. - I know Kirby doesn't owe ANY explanation but in the world we live in now, he kind of does because its the court of public opinion and when the donors get mad, contract buyouts start happening real quick.

If there is anything about Kirby that should be overly apparent by now it's the fact that he could not give a damn what the media thinks and would prefer to give as little info as he can. Not saying it's right or wrong, because you may be correct that he could be given more grace if he were more upfront. But he's not and I don't see that changing anytime soon.

Americus said JT is healthy and the issue is ball-security. Though, with the shite-show we have seen the last 3 weeks with regard to ball-security, he certainly couldn’t be much worse.

If the defense can't get their shite together, it is time to March out a gunslinger and let him do his thing.

They just need to get healthy again and have the offense give them a break. You can't go 3 and out 6 straight times in a half and expect to stay in a game.

I didn't imply he is going to change it, what I am pointing out is it doesn't play into his favor at all and will ultimately be the reason he fails. (Assuming he fails to get us a natty in the next few years or be in the playoffs)

Cmon. You know he’s by far the best QB and Smart just refused to play him because he doesn’t want to win. Just like Mathis. Wasn’t it obvious how much more advanced Mathis was during the 2nd half of the FL game? It’s just like everyone here suspected.
It’s Kirbys job to play the worst QB option available so we lose games. Get with the program Buck.

Yea,I think his secret squirrel act is really getting old and eventually hurts him and the program more than it helps. Its GREAT for this place and podcasters though.Ive never seen this place filled with more rumors, speculation and innuendo...it happens when you get little if any conventional information.

No pun intended.

So you'd prefer fumbles in the backfield to interceptions? No accounting for taste, I suppose.
