Wow...that’s really good comparison.

Good Offense, shite Defense, wins with talent and plays like shite on the road

Lsu riding last year's reputation... Not sure they are anything but average

I don’t really give a shite about LSU’s basketball team, but I don’t know why so much of their offense runs through Thomas. Dude is just a chucker.

6-20 tonight. Takes terrible shots.

They’d be better off if more ran through Watford and Smart.

They've got some elite offensive players, but their depth guys aren't great and they are an atrocious defensive team.

They're really good on offense and a complete train wreck on defense.

I just hope the officiating is somewhat even. That last game was a joke.

I like the fact that we’re at a point as a program where we are nitpicking an 8-point win over the biggest team in the league after playing them without 2 of our primary 3 4/5 players.

Yep - and we didn't lay an egg or lollygagg around, we just weren't as sharp and State played pretty well. And we weathered every run and made big shots to close it out.

Good place to be.

We would have lost this game by 10 last year. We'd have lost it by 15 under Avery. This was one of those where having a crowd in the building would have probably resulted in us actually going on a run at some point over the last 10-12 minutes to put it away.

What happened to Primo up until almost the very end? I know he had 4 fouls, but Quinnerly was not having a very good night.

Didn't watch the whole game, but what I saw we played what I consider our average game, not many teams in the SEC beat us even today

Yep, agree. And State presents some matchup issues if they are playing crisp and their guards are on, and they were.

Without Rojas and Bruner this was a bad matchup on the boards and we still controlled the game mostly.
