What are y'alls expectations from him?
No trolling, asking a legitimate question. He's a ginormous dude

Has a cannon but still a rough talent last I heard. Seems to have a good mind for the game.

I think that's pretty much all we know at this point other than he has a cannon. He supposedly had a great week of practice, but the defense was supposedly better than at any time last year too. We'll see.

His 247 comparison coming out of high school was Feleipe Franks , so take that FWIW.

Wild Bill Taylor tells us that's he's a "tall Joe."

I expect our fans to finally realize just how fricking awesome Brennan was
9th rated QB in the nation on a team with no run game and no offensive line
I expect Finley to struggle alot

I could see him struggling for a couple of reasons.
-True freshman making his first start against a good SEC defense.
-He isn't extremely mobile. With our o-line, that could be a problem. Brennan has had a while to learn how to move around in the pocket and even in his first game didn't do that well. I don't expect a true freshman to pick that up immediately.
-He has a cannon for an arm. This is a good thing but our WRs have had quite a few drops this year so I don't know if the extra velocity is going to help or hurt him. I have no clue though how he is with putting touch on necessary throws.
-People have said he had some accuracy issues coming in. Honestly don't know if those have been corrected or not. I have to lean towards no with the short amount of time he has been on campus plus even less time spent with coaches because of COVID.
Overall, I expect him to look like a freshman, just like Johnson. If we had a more reliable o-line I think he could be a good one.
There is a reason the coaches went with him of Johnson though so we will see. Obviously they have seen more of him than any one else so I hope the guy goes in there and balls out.
Could have been helpful a couple weeks ago with 1 yard to go for a win!

They will give you answers akin to guarded optimism, but reality is that there is no indication to expect positive results.
I don’t expect Muschamp to have a Pelini-like performance, and leave receivers one on one all over the field against a QB that has to pass the ball in an offense that has established no running game.
Just one more nail in the coffin for the LSU staff, IMO. By all accounts, the other QB option is more mobile. He would be more likely to force Muschamp to account for that, which would give some of our NFL receivers a better chance for the separation necessary to complete passes from a young QB that hasn’t caught up to the college game yet.
Instead, we’re gonna let them line up with a better front 7 than Miss St and Missouri, w/o the QB as a running option, try to establish a running game, then expect a QB in his first game to beat them with his 50% accuracy in high school arm.
Brilliant. Both 2019 and 2020 LSU were highly improbable, on opposite sides of the spectrum.

Expectations. To just try and survive the day behind that O line. He's a big kid, maybe just a little more mobile than MB. He will be sacked, the question is how many times? I look for LSU to try and establish their running game early in this one. That's another big question mark though.

He's black and Ryan Clark had to shower.

You know as much as we do. We have not played our freshman bc we are trying so hard to get our offense rolling.
Finley- big dude cannon arm, can make every single throw, not very mobile at all, will stand tall in pocket, he has been at lsu longer learning books. -The neg was inaccurate in highschool playing on a shite team.
Johnson- smaller guys, well built, not as strong of a arm, very mobile, coaches son should have a head on his shoulders that will help, he has not had as much time with the playbook. -neg was inaccurate in highschool also played highschool ball on a shite team.
I expect to see both in this game. Both have very very good upside but man they are true freshman.

He'll play better than the LSU defense will play.
