At least LSU will still be AP national champions of college football in 2019 when all of this is over.
none of this involved the 2019 season. Might have to forfeit some of our 8 wins from 2014.

So Odell didn't hand out 2 grand in 100 dollar bills?

Alabama tried that too regarding Albert Means. The NCAA didn’t go for it. How’d that work out for Bama? NCAA going in dry on LSU.

This is great timing considering we have 70 scholarship players anyways right now and no way we'd have 85 anyways next season
Playing some 4d chess there
NCAA probably won't notice.

It was actually a genius idea. O told a few players they could have a couple hundred bucks if they win the National Championship. O gets Odell to hand out cash and make it look like a silly mistake.

I thought the storyline was fake money

The father of former offensive lineman Vadal Alexander received $180,000 in stolen money from LSU booster John Paul Funes, who admitted in 2019 that he embezzled more than half a million dollars from Our Lady of the Lake Hospital in Baton Rouge. The money was payment from 2012 to 2017 for what the NCAA characterized as a “no-show job.”
That is fricking sick.

Vadal Alexander could be retroactively ruled an ineligible player for 2014-15 and maybe LSU has to forfeit some garbage wins from those years

Yeah Vadal's dad was doing some underhanded shite with Funes to embezzle money form the hospital, pretty sad what they did.

FYI FWIW LSU the NCAA laughed at our self imposed sanctions and added more on top. We tried to appeal and they denied, and we didn't fully clear it until recently. You can see the effects it had on our recruiting, particularly on defense.

Yeah it is. I could not care less about some players getting paid on the sly. But this is just absolutely disgusting.

Steal from a children’s hospital no big deal just self report. Lose some scholly’s win a Natty. Who wouldn’t make that trade? LSU is a symptom not a cause. This is what happens when this much money is circulating in college football.

Why is $180,000 always the number that comes out for these football players?
Unless it happens at Mississippi State, and it's $150,000.
