LSU should get the hammer dropped on them but we know they won't.
Why wouldn't they?

This is worse than Albert Means and Reggie Bush. LSU should get the hammer dropped on them but we know they won't.
Given 100k of which most of it was given back.
That is how money laundering schemes work. He didn't walk with 100k. And the scheme included non-players, former players, etc. and continued well past Vadal's time at LSU.
This wasn't some huge conspiracy to pay LSU athletes, it was a money laundering scheme that had some overlap with 1 active LSU athlete's family.

I am sure no bama booster would ever give money to a player or his family...or kill trees

OOF This is going to be a REALLY big problem for Special Ed. Very Sad.

Hopefully the NFL sees this as just Beckham being a fricking dumbass and not penalizing us as an institution. Maybe limit our locker room to those of us who aren't self-centered malcontents in life. Beckham may be talented but he is as bad as it gets.

Hold onto that one while you can

Poor guys are less than a year removed from getting their arse kicked (along with the rest of the SEC) obviously they'll eat up a story like this and talk about how "fricked" we are.
It appears to me that y'all were proper fricked before this news ever broke, unless you would call losses to Mizzou and Mississippi St. something else?
I hope that shiny trophy comforts you in the dark days that lie ahead. In my experience it's hard to find comfort in past triumphs when you're getting beaten by unranked teams on a regular basis. Then again that was a long time ago for me, so I could be misremembering

Not listed but it looks like O is adding a postseason ban by the way the team is playing.

I'm guessing because of general NCAA incompetence
But the NCAA is all over LSU it appears, so that's a lot of effort if you're timid about making a major move.
Probably somewhere in between. I assume LSU will get nailed. It probably won't get destroyed to the extent it would if it was Ole Miss.

Program is riddled with shithead people. Everyone that works in college athletics knows this.
Glad it’s all coming down on them.

Their children are married and they are very close friends whose families spend holidays together.
But no, they're not blood related.
ETA:
And these penalties won't hurt us and are self-imposed, not NCAA imposed. So I don't know what you're bringing this up for.
We'll see what happens with the NCAA.

You know no player or coach involved in any of this was on the team last year, right?
