body of work
Beat 1-2 Ole Miss and 1-2 South Carolina. Lost to 2-1 A&M.
A&M beat 0-3 Vanderbilt and 2-1 Florida, lost to 3-0 Alabama.
A&M played 2 Top 5 opponents, lost one on the road and won one at home.
Florida played 1 ranked opponent and lost.

Auburn should not be ranked above Arkansas.
I mean, they did win. Sorta won. On a technicality.

Considering how many we got last week I’d say yes
And now you have one more loss than you did last week. AND last week's win doesn't look nearly as impressive as it did, does it?

plus Tenn has looked like a much stronger team so far
Pains me to admit it, but yes.
These next three weeks will define the SEC.
Lots of good matchups, some interesting bye weeks and sleeper/trap games hanging out there.
UT is a really good football team. Au is a resourceful one.

You are wasting your time arguing this as there is no reason to put Florida above A&M other than you just 'think' Florida is better. Just goes to show you the mediots are just as dumb as the coaches.

Here you go. Replying to your comment so you feel better about yourself.

I see why you are so bitter since the team you root for is once again irrelevant.

No real issue with the rankings. UA and UGA you could swap would not make much of a difference right now and next week will settle who is better.
The rest of the top 10 that has played so far have not seen a great schedule and not sure how Cincy is ranked with that schedule ahead of any team even with 1 loss. The only reason they are ranked so high is because in 2 weeks they play SMU and TV ratings are driving the rankings. They should even be top 20 but oh well.
In the end, at least on paper, I expect OSU once they start playing to finish 1 or 2.

Now, before I comment, let me preface this by saying that rankings are bullshite, and I know this is a result of many voters, but that means that more of them put Florida higher in the rankings than A&M, even though we have the same record and A&M won the head-to-head.
Either way, neither of these teams belongs in the top 20, in my opinion.

If you think Iowa State is better than Ohio State you are smoking crack. I dont need to see any games. So where would you rank them?
Nobody said Iowa State is better than Ohio State - stop making it sound like I am taking this statement to the extreme.
But I see Minnesota and USC moving into the top 25 this week when they weren't last week, and I see Oregon and Ohio State both moving up this week over last week. That doesn't include movement up the ladder by these teams and others the last few weeks.
Explain to me how that is fair.

The majority of voters ranked both between 10-13.
The outliers are where it got screwed up with the extreme discrepancies (difference of more than 5 places in bold)

That proves that these people do not watch the games.....at all.

Ohio State didn't move up. They were number 6 last week as well. North Carolina, fricking North Carolina passed Ohio State this week and if you think fricking North Caroloina is in the same stratosphere as Ohio State I'd like some of what you're smoking. Same with Notre Dame. Ohio State is being penalized by pollsters for not playing yet.

This is proof that pollsters either don't watch games or they hate the SEC.

It isnt fair
There also is not an answer to almost all the bullshite we have seen the last 8 months because the number of scumbags in this country is about half. They 100% did not even want football to be played at all this year.
Is it fair that Ohio State wanted to play but could be screwed over? No not really.
The good news is by the CFP selection we will have a really really good idea of the couple teams that will be able to win.
Rankings are pretty dumb.
