Mond must go. He is a cancer.

Let him play out this season as it is best to avoid trying to make this a big issue that been going on since last year. If things played out and take your lick and move on. This will be better doing it this way than to create a hostile environment.

Jimbo Fisher is a stubborn dinosaur that loves racking up yards in garbage time. Once people start poaching his staff he will just hire drinking buddies like he did at Free Shoes. Gonna be a shite show

Rohan Davey was on a post game show here in Baton Rouge talking about the Bama/Texas A&M game and Matt Moscona asked him about Texas A&M's offense and how much he recognized of it. And this is almost a direct, quote, the Offense you see Jimbo running is the one I ran in 2000 and 2001 and was the 2003 LSU National championship offense (he was not on that team) that in effect was Coach Nick Saban's LSU offense (Ro always calls Coach Saban "Coach Saban).

So your statement about being a "stubborn dinosaur" is not to far fetched.

Jimbo is the most overrated HC in the country. Why any school would pay him a guaranteed contract after going .500 in the ACC is beyond me! I guess A&M does have a lot of money so maybe they have no problem overpaying a coach and watching their teams flounder in mediocrity.

Desperation to become one of the "big boys" of college football. And the narrative that they "beat" us for him. They did but only after offering 75 mil and we decided to gracefully bow out. They're ok with being invited to the party, not being the host.

How so? I don’t know anything about y’all’s program. What’s the deal with Mond?

This was the year with

with Mond at QB. There was no way A&M was going to contend for anything at all with Mond at QB. Anyone that predicted a 1, 2, or 3 loss season was out of touch.

Some of the predictions I have seen were laughable.

He had one of the highest winning percentages in the country before that final season. The last few years have also shown that FSU's issues ran deeper than just Jimbo, and he likely had reasons to leave beyond $75 mil. I think A&M was justified in spending big on a coach with his resume.

That said, I agree with some of the comments about his offense, and think it's fair to question whether he will, or can, adapt at some point.

The woke networks love it. CBS pregame had video if him leading a protest parade down Texas Ave with his Al Sharpton megaphone this summer.

What does this have to do with A&M’s progress under Jimbo?

From afar it feels like the last real "ok, this could be where we improve" is when Mond leaves and a new QB takes over. But even then, you are starting a young, unproven QB and logic would contend that your best bet to get over the hump with him would be in year 2..........which means 2022? Year 6?

Mond isn't going anywhere - he's got another year of eligibility and the NFL won't touch him so bank on him being there next year. So that means the unproven QB will start in 22 and won't be ready until '23. Push everything back a year.

You can almost feel Jimbo giving up.

Remember when all the Aggies on this board were warning us about Mond being the best QB in the SEC?

Pepperidge Farm remembers.

If he is on the 2021 roster, over half the team will quit and Kyle will be empty.

A large majority of the big donors have already pulled their donations because of Mond's antics this past summer. The AD can't use COVID as an excuse next year.

Jimbo's gonna have to boot him. He may be dumb enough to go to the draft(somehow people that are supposed to be experts still thinks he's an NFL guy) but it's more likely he comes back. Another loss or two and I'd ride with King and force his hand in terms of next year. He is clearly not the present or future.

At least one former A&M President wants Mond gone:

Add that Mond is inconsistent, and has made himself a lightning rod by going all in on BLM movement stuff. And there surely some impact within the locker room too. Not sure how, and I doubt the team discusses it at all outside the locker room, but theres too much tension in the world right now for that not to have some impact on team cohesion.

FSU has admin issues no doubt, but things started getting sour literally when Jimbo found out a bout Candi. He knew that second he would leave FSU with the right offer. After winning in 2013 that 2014 team was absolutely loaded, and despite the undefeated regular season and playoff appearance that team was the worst team I've ever seen with that record. We literally had an NFL team and we had to come from behind to win damn near every game. Then there was the Oregon blowout. Anybody around the program would tell you FSU was fricked that season, despite the record. I feel like people have forgotten The Season with FSU on Showtime in 2016. Jimbo didn't care, players were yelling at coaches, and Jimbo had them sign the infamous promise agreement to make them all double swear to actually try. He literally quit recruiting in September of 2017 after the Bama loss, and also quit on the team. He allowed players to do and say whatever, he quit paying attention to academics. He flirted with a school every single offseason.

The dude said frick Tally when Candi fricked it and he have gave no shits about that program from then on. We hired Steve Urkel to fix that shittstorm, and it was a disaster. Now Norvell basically has to not just coach some guys up but change an entire program in the weirdest season ever. That hire and the money and the contract is one of the damnedest things I've ever seen and I got told to frick off on here when it happened and I said I couldn't believe it actually happened. It'll end in good story I'll say that
