MOT, please excuse the UGa fans, as most of them are good eggs, but few have a sense of humor. They are super easy to get riled up and very difficult to move off point. They know their stats pretty well. I wish they would just go ahead and win a natty as they will be much more fun to be around when they do. So much pent up frustration.
I have tried my dead level best to yuck it up with them to no avail, and I am funny dammit.

Chances are Arkansas beats Florida this year too. Mullen is a fraud and Trask had to wait until Franks snapped his twig to get the job. Better start paying off those officials, its what Florida is known for afterall

I do, in all seriousness hope Pittman gets you guys back on the right track. I can remember as a kid (When I was a LSU fan) Arkansas and LSU playing in a Bowl game. I can't remember if it was the Sugar Bowl or Cotton Bowl. My dad was from Arkansas (Magnolia) and I had an uncle still there. We went back and forth about who would win the game through the mail.
Arkansas had some really good teams then. It's time for you guys to get back there.

You must be thinking of the 65 cotton Bowl. Arkansas was on a 22 game winning streak. Arkansas had one of the most explosive offenses that year. However QB Jon Brittenum had a shoulder injury in the first half and didn't return. The next play Arkansas fumbled and LSU scored 14 points in the second quarter. The Arkansas defense shut them down the rest of the game. With no offense Arkansas was upset by LSU 14-7. That prevented Arkansas from becoming back to back champs.
Arkansas had another chance in 69 to win it all against Texas. But lost in a close one. That was the last game played with white players before integration. It was estimated that 50 million viewers watched that game.
Frank Broyles didn't recover from that game and never watched the replay even to his grave.
The combination of that game and integration was putting a lot of stress on Broyles. But it wasn't until 75 that Arkansas started coming back. They finished 10-2 including wins against then number two 31-6 Texas A&M and number 12 Georgia in the Cotton Bowl 31-10. Arkansas was the hottest team that year.
Arkansas began the 76 season ranked 13th. But injuries piled up and finished 5-5-1.
The next year Arkansas was unranked but loaded. They beat number 15 Oklahoma State 28-6. Lost to number two Texas 13-9. Beat number 11 Texas A&M 26-20.
Arkansas was 10-1 and were invited to the Orange Bowl against number two Oklahoma.
Arkansas was a 21 point underdog. Lou Holtz suspended four offensive players and so Oklahoma believed this would an easy win.
But backup RB Roland Sales would tear up the Sooner defense with 205 yards rushing on 23 carries. It was an Orange Bowl record for the next 20 years. Arkansas would shock the nation with the biggest upset and still is in bowl history 31-6.
Arkansas got screwed out of a national championship when most big city publications favored Notre Dame as the champion. But Rothman(Fact) a mathematical system selected Texas, Arkansas and Notre Dame as shared national champions.
Since we are going the mythical champ route then Arkansas are the 64 and 77 champs.

There is more sports than just football and Arkansas certainly has more national championships than UGA does. You're not even best at your best sport.
