Oh look, non-peer reviewed studies that look for correlations for something specific and finding it.

I think Colorado is having the same issues. Good point on the heat. It's 110 in Dallas nobody is leaving their house here except for an hour at the pool on the weekend.

You are as clueless now as you were when this started. Everything happening in our states is mainly because of people like you, and its alread F'd up football season.

Once again, I've not infected a single person with a virus, so it's literally impossible that "people like me" are the reason things are happening.

But I notice all you want to do is blame people rather than looking at real reasons why things happen.

It will take decades for any legitimate research on any of these issues. We can barely figure out economic issues in the 30s, it's so ridiculous how some people think in such black and white ways.

I think as it heats up across the northern parts of the country the amount of cases is also going to go up.

Denver started to get highs in the mid to upper 90s just a few weeks ago. It's above average right now, but it's going into the hottest month of the year next month.

Other parts of the Midwest are likely about to start getting higher cases also.

Just a theory and pattern I've noticed. I don't think it has anything to do with the political landscape as many people want to claim. Every state has lots of people on both sides.

Because he’s a scientist you imbecile. He only makes any claims based on current data. He doesn’t jump to any conclusion good or bad. He analyzes the current evidence and makes a hypothesis from there LIKE ALL OF SCIENCE DOES.

But there is plenty of evidence that not even the best N95 masks - properly fitted - are able to stop airborne particles the size of the virus. They flow in and out of the mask just like you aren't wearing a mask.

They've been claiming it doesn't spread that way, but I'm betting it's wrong and you'll soon be hearing about it. Because the biggest cases are down in the hottest parts of the country where people often stay indoors under the AC.

Let me break it down for you a bit.

You dont breath in and out, cough out, or sneeze out individual virus particles, they are attached to mucus or saliva normally is too large to pass through thus they get stuck.

It is not about perfection and zero transmission, it is about a sneeze or cough not spreading out in a shotgun pattern around the room and keeping it as contained as possible, which is why mask are combined with distancing.

People need to stop letting perfect be the enemy of the best we can do. When you say mask should not be worn that means you are depending on everyone else to do the right thing and wash their hands after every cough and sneeze.

Look around next time you go out and ask yourself if you can count on those around you to do so.

Actually, no. I have zero fear of death. I have no problem with ceasing to exist. But while I’m here, my morality is to do as little harm to any living being as I possibly can. If me not being able to watch football will save even one life, I’m fine with that.

I guess some of us are just not selfish little bastards.

Here's some more stuff from The Advocate in Baton Rouge after the meeting...
quote:

"We have to see a change in public health trend to build the comfort that we'll have an opportunity to compete this fall," Sankey told ESPN's Paul Finebaum on Monday evening.

quote:

The SEC has members in 11 states, and seven have 40,001 or more COVID-19 cases this year, the highest category in the CDC's database. The increase of cases in the region in the past few weeks is "not a positive factor," Sankey told Finebaum, though he said the league will analyze similar data before it reaches a final decision on the season.

quote:

"I'm done with predictions; I'm done with models," Sankey said. "We're going to look at facts, and that's what we've been doing diligently for months now and will do over the next few weeks."

quote:

"Things are going to have to improve and get better, but we have time," LSU athletic director Scott Woodward said. "This thing has had trends go up and down, and hopefully they'll go down and people will take what's going on seriously. Because if not, it's going to be difficult for us to safely play these games."

quote:

Woodward said "I'm still planning like I'm playing opening weekend," a sentiment that he said was shared by most of the athletic directors who attended Monday's meeting. If teams can play, they'll play, Woodward said, but they'll have to "listen to the health experts and go forth from there."

wearing a mask is so easy, why not do it, especially since it will encourage others to do the same

There basically is no down side

Most of their infections started prior to shutdowns when we were just figuring all this out, take a look at their daily death rates and new cases and compare to ours since May.

Still have a higher death per million over US and aren’t testing near the rate of US is now.

US deaths are declining dramatically since May.

Some in Europe are trending back up. (Cases and deaths)

They took their arse kicking months ago, we seem to have ours still to come due to dumbassery.

What dumbassery? Not shutting completely down and staying shutdown or your non stop talk of anti-mask?

What about the dumbasses that think a bandana or surgical mask is sufficient...my favorite, wearing a mask with nose hanging out. Then you have the geniuses that pull mask down to talk.

The mask hawks are just losing their minds because they can't control other people and they assume everybody but themselves are mentally deficient to manage their own risk. It's pretty simple. Just ignore them for they do not care about your opinions and do not want to reason with you. It's a personality type.

The whole point was to let the people do the right thing without being forced to do so, but no, that’s too much to expect. Y’all failed at doing so, and now a chance at a normal fall is just about gone. Congrats on your “much freedom”.

Again. Prove to me that anybody not wearing a mask infected a single person in you municipality. Nobody in Dallas County is allowed in a place if business without one. The anti mask crowd is wearing masks you morons. You're basically talking to yourself at this point.

Multiple testing site in Florida reporting positive rates between 88% and 100%. The numbers are crap...especially when combined with the practice of double, triple, quadruple (if not more) counting of positive cases that get tested many times to determine when they're free of symptoms. Other countries are handling it better than the US? Maybe other countries can count better? Maybe other countries don't have elections coming up?
