This is all that really matters:
The bottom line is that any mask that covers the nose and mouth will be of benefit.
“The concept is risk reduction rather than absolute prevention,” said Chin-Hong. “You don’t throw up your hands if you think a mask is not 100 percent effective. That’s silly. Nobody’s taking a cholesterol medicine because they’re going to prevent a heart attack 100 percent of the time, but you’re reducing your risk substantially.”

If you're driving down the Road and hear sirens, you look in your rear-view, and see an Ambulance, most intelligent people immediately pull over when safe to clear the Lane because they know someone somewhere is in Medical distress, they pull over to DO THEIR PART to help a stranger they never met
I pull over because I'm paranoid about getting a ticket. I'm very annoyed about having to do so to be perfectly honest, especially if I'm trying to get somewhere. Oftentimes those ambulances are on their way to the scene of an accident that could have been avoided if someone hadn't done something stupid. That's kind of like the mortality rate with Covid-19. Many of the people who are dying have co-mordibities that could have been avoided had they made healthier life choices. Others were in hospice care or nursing homes, and would have likely been dead before the year was out anyway. The average age of death from Covid-19 is higher than America's average life expectancy.

This ain't about being told what to do, this is about following their Leader The Bunker Bitch just to antagonize the rest of the Country
Being told what to do is EXACTLY what this is about. Expecting the people of this country to just "do what they are told" is silly. Sure many people will but Americans are rebellious by nature and resistant to change.
This has very little to do with trump and i think you are letting political bias cloud your view of what is happening. You need to let go of this irrational hatred of the president. It's unhealthy for you.
