And just what do you think is going to be different in the spring? We are about to lock everything down again only to watch it spike back up upon reopening.

New president. That's all he cares about.

People are subjectively believing their will be a vaccine that will fix everything by then.

Yeah that’s silly. That would be, by far, the fastest vaccine to ever exist and the first one to ever exist for a human coronavirus.

Not to mention we are starting to see that antibodies don’t even stay with you forever so a vaccine isn’t some magic solution to make everyone immune from this virus.

Belgium, UK, France, Spain, Italy, Sweden all have much higher deaths per million and not nearly testing at the level the US is....so who exactly is doing a better job?

And we will have everything up and running in 3 weeks. NFL, MLB, MLS, NBA, and NHL.

circumstances related to COVID-19 must improve

They've already improved, yet the media and power hungry politicians don't care. They want to make us miserable.

Taking away college football furthers our misery. So yeah, that's probably what they'll do.

Only if you believe wearing a mask is all we have to do to contain/stop the virus. Let me give you a for instance. Someone who is Covid+ but asymptomatic walks into a grocery store wearing a mask. However, they didn't wash their hands before leaving the house. They go down the bread aisle and check loafs for expiration dates until they find the loaf they want. You come up behind this person 10-15 minutes later, wearing a mask, and touch some of the packages they touched just minutes before. Sometime later, you're climbing into the car, you take your mask off, and you absentmindedly rub your eyes with your hands before turning the key to the ignition. You then head home and greet your family with hugs and kisses.

People are supposed to disinfect their hands AND wear masks and socially distance. That would make a difference. It was just too hard for the MAGA goats.

They dont have millions of inbred fricks thinking they are patriots for not wearing a paper mask.

This is the dumbest hill imaginable to die on.

And yet the NFL absolutely plans to play this autumn. The NHL is also a go. If college football doesn't go it's because the commissioners and school presidents are pussies.

Two of those are private businesses the other is part of the state government, that is an apples to rocket ship comparison.

The NFL and NHL would cease to exist if they dont play, a NCAA institution would not.

Nobody can prove at all that the alleged "mask truthers" are what is causing the spike it's so laughable.

Its not hard to figure out which kind of person is spreading this around.

Then why are Deaths per million for UK, France, Belgium, italy, Spain extremely higher than the US?

Why aren’t those countries testing remotely close to the rate the US is?

Most of their infections started prior to shutdowns when we were just figuring all this out, take a look at their daily death rates and new cases and compare to ours since May.

They took their arse kicking months ago, we seem to have ours still to come due to dumbassery.

The worst part about it is the anti maskers are the biggest attention whores among us, simply dont wear it if you don't want to, no one will arrest you but please stop trying to get Facebook hero points and convincing everyone else to join you.

A 30 year old in Texas died because he thought it was a hoax and went to a covid party.

There’s really no good reason to not wear a mask when possible. What kills me is it’s the people who have so much to be thankful for (family, job, house, etc) that tend to be throwing a temper tantrum over wearing a fricking mask - putting themselves, their family, and livelihood at risk. Morons.

Thanks for proving my point for me. You have no clue who is spreading the disease and why. We don't even have accurate testing and we have economic incentives for cases to rise for insolvent hospitals and bankrupt municipalities. Y'all are some sociopathic freaks pointing fingers with no facts. The unhealthy population is probably the most scared of the virus but are the ones who have symptoms. Guess how they mostly vote?

I didnt prove shite for you. It should be common sense those who dont wear masks and social distance are more far more likely spread COVID than those who do what they are supposed to do.

What proportion of the population isn't wearing masks when they're around other people when asked? Out of those people how many are healthier because they aren't touching their face? How many have spread the virus? From what I've seen hardly anybody gets tested so you have no idea and you're probably spreading the virus just as much as a non mask wearer.

Based on what I see around town, on social media, and the amount of people on sites like this that argue against wearing masks, the proportion of people not wearing masks has been too high. Its not a coincidence the numbers have sky rocketed.

The mask policy mandates were set in stone before this "case spike" ever happened lol

Also thanks for reinforcing my point that y'all are just making stuff up and pretending it's objective analysis.
