There’s no reason to play the national anthem before a football game.

Yep, that will be it for me. I am officially DONE with everything NFL. I mean, that’s for sure, but if CFB does it, same thing.

I am personally hoping for The Fields of Athenry, being Irish-American.

I'm getting real close to not watching any games anymore Chiz. Radio broadcasts only.

Even if they do, how will it affect you? Would it really bother you that much?

Because I’m an American first, and wont kneel for my national anthem, and wont honor a racially divisive anthem based on race ALONE. I’d feel the exact same if they sang a white national anthem and the US national anthem. It’s sick, and it’s not asking much to take a stand on this. It’s pretty fricking easy.

I hope it happens before the first game back at Tiger Stadium, with no prior warning, and that you, Mike da Tigah, personally, are there in attendance, just so you can get really pissed off and the return of college football can be ruined for you.

They may get me once, but they will never get a second shot at it, so make it worth their while is what I say.

I have a life man. This isn’t the be all end all of life. I like it, but I can sure as hell leave it if need be.

I love when people create imaginary situations in their heads and then get angry about it.

What happens if a player decides to kneel for the black anthem?

It's a reality in the NFL. It's not that much of a stretch to think that college football could adopt the same thing.

Is kneeling a form of disrespect?

Do people who kneel when they pray actually mean to be telling God off?

It would be the Kaepernick situation, but reversed. Both sides hypocrisy would be exposed after the outrage.

The difference would be racism instead of patriotism, but I agree. I've never understood the outrage over the kneeling. Kap went out of his way to make sure people knew he wasn't disrespecting the military.

YES, it is, and Kneeling before God is kneeling before my creator. Kneeling before men and licking boots, apologizing for my skin pigmentation, or in obedience to the dogma of an admitted Marxist organization in BLM is revolting, and the actions of a true cuck.
