I’d be more inclined to go than in the past honestly. Will be the cleanest JHS ever is.

I’m healthy so I don’t have any concerns whatsoever. Attend at your own risk

No. And it has nothing to do with rona. I lost a lot of interest in going to the games ever since the university decided to kill traditional tailgating.
I go back every now and then to take the kids but I’d rather sit on my porch and drink a beer than put up with the “game day experience” they created.

Yet it was 100% better when one was forced to rent a tent with catering or forced to march 10 miles from a traditional tailgate... give me the days when the Parker hall lawn was elbow to elbow with wild parties, drunken women, live bbq... hell I remember LSU fans pulling onto the Haley Center concourse on a Wednesday morning setting up shop... it was better and you can not argue the fact.

If it is true that asymptomatic carriers aren't spreading it
Not to be a bummer, but that was just one doctor that was saying that, not an official statement by the WHO. The WHO has a whole, including the original doctor, has already taken that statement back and is clarifying what she meant. LINK
That said, I think if we do half capacity and wear facemasks we'd be good to go.

I probably wont be sitting in the stands trying to scream with a mask on so I probably wont attend any games this year. Ive been looking for a reason to take a break from making that drive every game and this will probably do it for me this year. Probably just try to watch from home and maybe do some family stuff on game day here.
Reduce our risk and get a break at the same thing. I honestly dont think there will even be any games this fall but that is yet to be determined. I hope there is in some form or fashion

If college football happens and the stadiums are open to fans, would you go?

The virus might be circulating forever. You gonna not walk around until then?
Good news is unless you're over 75 or in terrible health it's virtually no threat to you.

I’m with you guys that’s it’s not as bad as first thought, but I know two people in their 20’s with none of the preexisting conditions that would put them at risk, and both ended up spending a couple days in the hospital from this. We still don’t know that much about it.
All that said, if I can get a good deal on a ticket then I’m going. If they require masks then you can count me out

I’m not remotely concerned about my own personal exposure and I’d go to at least one game.

Were they smokers or vapors? if so there is your underlying condition...it affects smokers also and if not then they may have something that hasn't been diagnosed yet....they found a couple of 20 somethings down here and discovered that they had been vaping regularly and the oils put into those things can cause lung problems.
Posted on 6/10/20 at 1:51 pm to 88TIger
Vaping causes popcorn lungs. Definitely underlying issues..

Just a thought we have not discussed.

They were not

If somebody wants to give me a ticket, I’ll go. I’m not concerned about the virus at all. I just don’t want to pay then have to drive 4 hours and all the other expenses.
0 virus related. Just the usual pissing and moaning about time and money.
