Similarities include:
1. Guess who was # 3 in both polls?
2. Guess who was ridiculously overrated in both polls for those years?
3. Guess which SEC coach had won a National Championship Title a few years before his LAST YEAR (Coaching and being alive)?
4. Guess which coach died soon after finishing an 8-4 year (3-3 SEC) at age 69?

One guy smoked chesterfields and drank a good bit.
The other is probably physically fitter than 80% of the people on this board who are half his age.
Saban will die at some point, but I would be surprised if it was within the next 5 or even 10 years.

Stress is a far greater killer than smoking and drinking! I’m 85 and drink only a glass of wine a day, but laugh my arse off daily with lots to do and have fun. I also have amazing DNA with family that live well into their 90’s.
