None of this is accurate. Not legally. Not layman’s. No one sees “armed robbery” and assumes it was a home evasion, or a bank robbery, etc. solely.

I am supremely confident if you pulled a random person off the street and asked them what "armed robbery" meant, their answer would be something along the lines of "it's when you steal from someone with a gun." They're not going to think fact specific bullshite like BearBrait has so arrogantly preached ITT while calling anyone who disagreed with him (everyone) that they're stupid, lack reading comprehension, etc.

Of course this is would be their answer. His responses in another thread and this one are absurd. It’s not even a good troll if that’s the intent, because it’s just fricking dumb.

That is you defining "gunpoint" as "brandishing a firearm."

So clearly, you attempted to define something.

quote:

you realize that robbery while brandishing a firearm is armed robbery right?

yes? at no point did I say that it wasn't. nor did I refer to an armed robbery at all when I pointed out your definition of "gunpoint" as "brandishing a firearm" was not accurate.

Someone said I didn't know what "at gunpoint" meant

this was said ironically as the author pointed out, and only a failure to comprehend that irony could have inspired you to reply as if it was intended literally.

I don't know why I need to say this, you keep teling me I need to stop. Why on earth would you think I give ANY shits what you think I need to do? We are now 4 pages in on you and your gang of mouth breathing morons failing to understand what I actually said.

It wasn't my intent to turn this thread into an idiot test, but that's what its become. so you can move on or you can watch with me as each new moron proudly chimes in that their actions 100% fit the legal definition armed robbery.

At some point you have to look around and realize if you’re the only one saying one thing, and everyone else is saying another, the majority are unlikely to be the “morons”.

It’s you, man. You’re the moron.

you would have a point if you all were actually offering up arguments that were in conflict with what I said.

I’ve quoted you directly and said everything you typed was completely and utterly false. Idk what else you want from me. You seem to think society (layman) views armed robbery in some skewed manner, which they don’t. It’s actually very simple.

I guess feel free to elaborate, although it feels unneeded.

Going in a home with a gun is home invasion armed robbery.

Are y'all just ignoring the part of the story where a 3rd guy that was supposedly the getaway driver was waiting outside, then came inside with a mask on and baker told him to shoot the guy they were robbing.

Now I may be wrong, but this seems to be a planned robbery.

Dunbar's Lawyers claim to have signed affidavits from 5 folks in attendance that claim his client didn't Rob anyone

The arrest warrant for Dunbar is still active though

Look for Baker's Lawyer to do the same thing, I'm guessing this foray into stupidity will cost each guy over $1million spread among the victims plus Lawyer Fees rendering these idiots broke even if they do get another Contract, this 1 stunt means these 2 idiots will have played in the NFL for free & will never get any endorsement money

Stupid

I wonder how their Moms feel seeing their idiot kids splashed all over TV for something so stupid

Dunbar is absolved of his involvement.

Baker, a thUGa representative, is still on the hook.

Dunbar should do better to associate with crooks.
