Well for sure the Tide are in the mix and will be every year as long as they recruit at the elite level each year.
Not sure if there is a decline but the drop off from being the top team clearly is no longer there.

Does Alabama play LSU in Baton Rouge next year?
As usual, after that game, Alabama will have started another long win streak over LSU.
