Check the stats! We put up plenty of pts and yes
i didn't think so.

They slipped up on a crippled and very youthful Bama team.

However, we turned the ball over on too many unforced errors. Pick sixes that had no sense or purpose for happening. Just sick awful luck kept Bama from taking home #18. Not the tigers by themselves. Heck no!

LSU
UGA
AUBURN
These programs are a direct threat to Alabama. 2 of the 3 listed have a steep upward trajectory. The other is a wildcard that lives to ruin all things bama. Other notable programs to watch out for are A&M florida and Tennessee.
Be scared.

Wrong! Bama's "D" got statistically better as the year wound down. Check the stats! Not that hard to do.....

You think the same blessings would be bestowed upon you again? No! Saban the 2nd time around... Lethal!

And LSU's defense got exponentially better as far season wound down. Also, while we're bringing up these hypothetical scenarios of what would happen through a 10 game series, do you really think Tua would play more than a handful of games?

It is absolutely glorious seeing how fan Alabama fans have fallen, truly the gift that keeps on giving with random Thursday morning in May melts like this one

Alabama's D gave up 34 points to Gus's offense. Auburn's O only scored more points against two other P5 teams: Arkansas (fired their coach) and Mississippi State (fired their coach).
You baws got torched against the only two decent, balanced offenses Alabama played. Your All-American Safety got trucked by a 3rd string RB at the goal line in your last game of the regular season.
Alabama's defense was not good all season long.
tDenial is strong, baw.

No way Brennan can be successful after an offseason taking the starting reps, but Mac will come in middle of the season and not miss a beat, huh?

Both 1 possession games and we have the least experienced team and less depth(due to an unprecedented run of injury to our most experienced and talented players)and the world is caving in for the "TIDE?" PUHLEEZ......... Count your blessings tigers!
But you never had a chance to even take the lead in the second half of the LSU game.

Alabama's defense was not good last year. The rush defense was--dare I say it--bad. And the pass defense did not hold up against the better passing teams on the schedule (ok LSU is one thing, but Texas A&M and South Carolina?).
Alabama will rely on an efficient offense that looks more like the pre-Jalen teams. Run the ball. Short passes. More base hits, fewer home runs. Eat clock, score points. Try to take pressure off the defense.
That formula could work in the SEC because it looks like a bit of a down year in the league. But if you get to the CFP playing that game, you'll get your asses handed to you by Clemson or Ohio State, both of whom are legit championship-caliber teams next year.
Good luck.

Better check Bama's performance in big games (Clemson LSU Auburn) and Tiny Nick's age on the birth certificate. Remember what I said -gradual and then VERY sudden. Enjoy your next few years on almost sorta kind greatness and then it's back to the coaching wheel of uncertainty.
