since bama's biggest problem was stopping it's opponent from scoring , how bout you name all those top line defensive players that missed at least six games?

Pretty sure you will IGNORE this question again.

Because it's preposterous! I could put a list together and name who missed how much playing time..etc.. But, I digress, anybody who follows college football, especially the SEC, would know the dilemma Bama had to deal with!

Hint: seven freshmen started in a couple of games or played significant minutes. This was a blessing in disguise, as Bama will be loaded for bear in 2020(if they play)with talented and experienced players. A very deep roster and Mack the Knife got to hone his game against good competition.

Anywho, I will take the time and make our a very detailed list, just for you!

Then, I will expect you to reciprocate in kind by starting a thread that primarily states "I was wrong about Bama's injury situation!" .

AGREED?

LSU had 5 true freshman in the same scenario on defense. It's technically six, but Jay Ward didn't play as much as the others in the meaningful parts of the game although he did play some meaningful snaps.

With all those #1 recruiting classes bama has pulled in all these years you would think they wouldn't have to rely on Fr to play so many minutes much less start. What happened to the "16, '17 and '18 recruiting classes?

The way I see it moses and ray were the only two veteran and EXPERIENCED starters that bama "D" lost for the season due to injury.

LSU had five CBs listed on the '19 roster. Four of those were TrFr. Three of the four played regularly with Stingley being named 1st team all american. Don't remember one time LSU fans made mention of those TrFr having to play. By end of season there were six TrFr seeing quality minutes on "D".

Every team has to deal with players getting injured or missing starts. It's not something special the tide had to deal with. For years anytime a bama opponent mentioned something about injures after losing to the tide. bama fans would comeback with manup and accept defeat. Don't make excuses. It's something bama nation would NEVER do. Dude it's time you take your own advice.

Of course it’s not. You’re showing your insecurity.

Bama is a premier program with coaching, talent, facilities, etc. As long as Saban roams the sidelines, Bama will a force.
The decline is not real but the rise of others is real. tOSU, LSU, Clemson, Georgia and others aren’t looking up at Bama. They’re staring Saban in the eye.

So, LSU had a great year! Rah, Rah...

BAMA misses out by the narrowest of margin of being in every CFP'S ever held!

4 straight NC games!

Can you dig it?

I knew that you could!

This whole board put us on notice last year too and pretty much week after week. How did that work out?

Baylor (#7) and Utah (#11) were closer to making the 2019 playoff than Alabama (#13).

You don't know that anymore than the people that claim Bama is declining.

only thing holding BAMA back this year from another NC! Will be a wicked monster known as COVID-19!

Not a valid excuse because everyone will be working under the same circumstances. The Hong Kong flu is everywhere not just in Alabama.

Point being that this year's Tide team will win it all and in a grand style!
Albeit, Covid-19 could prevent Bama from hanging banner #18!

It is not so much a Bama decline as it is that LSU and Georgia have caught up. Even Florida.

The Bama analyst advantage is gone. The Bama national recruiting advantage is gone. And in LSU case the I formation and the toss dive..tailback stretch play are gone. Even LSU inability to recruit a QB is gone.

None of that means Bama has declined.

In the SEC west. TAM is better. Miss St and Ole Miss will win a game or two that they should not. Even the disaster of Arkansas will be better.

Many more missed significant playing time and, or played very sparinglyi.e.. T. Lewis all SEC, 1rst team all-ammerica talent but couldn't stay on the field. McMillon LB has been there for 4 now 5 yrs had been plagued with injuries and other personal problems.
Saban raved on how good he looked in the spring and was predicting great things from the young kid. But as his luck was to have it, he had a season killing injury and never played a game last year. T. Sanders who Saban said reminded him of Eric Dickerson former L.A. Rams and SMU great and probably the "GOAT" of NFL RBS, tore up his knee in spring and never played a down last year. Yes, LaBryan Ray was heavily counted on to stop the middle.Dylan Moses would of been a 1rst team ALL-SEC
& 1rst team ALL-AMERICAN consensus. Unquestionably the leader and most important player in the defense got hurt in the fall and never played a down last year. Raekwon Davis who would have shared minutes with L. Ray on the DL missed significant time and was forced to play injured when he did come in. D.J. Dale DT forced to play due to the Day & Davis situation was coming on great and got injured which cost him significant playing time. The list goes on and on but it was an extremely difficult year for the Tide because you add to it the Jr's. & 3rd yr soph. who jumped to the NFL before last season we needed to have all hands on deck. Obviously, the injuries were brutal and took an enormous toll on the Tide.
Then there's "TUA'S" situation! Ruggs, Jeudy, Waddell, Forristall, D. Brown...... .etc...etcera.....et.real.

So, Bama goes 11-2 losing 2 games by a combined 8 pts. Both 1 possession games and we have the least experienced team and less depth(due to an unprecedented run of injury to our most experienced and talented players)and the world is caving in for the "TIDE?" PUHLEEZ......... Count your blessings tigers!
Cause only thing holding BAMA back this year from another NC! Will be a wicked monster known as COVID-19!

as fate would have to intervene and derailed it through just plumb horrendous luck. Injuries and youth were just to much to overcome, even though we only needed to find 8 more pts or 2 more stops to have won it all. Amazing to think of how great a team we should of had! RTR!

. Y’all will probably hang one anyway. Claiming that Covid prevented y’all from winning the title in 2020 is enough reason by itself for Bama to claim it.
