SEC only 13 game schedule

So if the SEC is the only conference that plays this fall, how would you feel about a 13 game SEC schedule.
Start September 5th. 13 games. 2 off weeks. Last regular season Saturday would be December 12th. End of year rivalry games could be played on Thanksgiving with 2 weeks after or you could just push them back 2 weeks.
You take the top 4 best records and play semi final games on NYD at home sites of best 2 records.
Play the SEC/National Championship on the regular Monday night in Atlanta.
Would you want that? Would the schools want that? Would the coaches want that?

We last played Vanderbilt in Nashville in 2009. We last played Florida in Gainesville in 2010. We last hosted Georgia in 2010. We've never even hosted Missouri.
The SEC schedule is fricking bullshite as it stands right now. I'd love to play other SEC schools and act like we play in a conference instead of playing schools like Louisiana Tech more often.

1. We won't be the only conference playing games in 2020.
2. Playing an SEC round robin in 13 weeks would be fun...for the fans. I wonder how they would determine who gets 7 home games and who gets 6 home games. My idea would be to give the 6 teams who have won the most SEC games since 2012, 6 home games. Everyone else gets 7 home games.
6--LSU, Bama, UGA, Fla, Aub, A&M
7--State, OMiss, Mizzou, UK, Vandy, Tenn, Carolina

Yes but you've been in the conference 8 years and this is the first time it's happened. Through 2025 State and Missouri will only have played twice in 13 years. That's far too infrequently for teams in the same conference to play one another.

Dude I’d kill for an opportunity to road trip to Athens & or Knoxville. I’m sure East fan bases Would say the same about Baton Rouge & Tuscaloosa.

What do the c-d games scheduled for 2021-2025 count as?

Shoot LSU still hasn't been to Mizzou. And aren't slated to until 2023.

I think state rivalries will still need to take place. SC Clemson, Florida FSU, UGA GT for example.

Do you really think the pussies in the ACC are going to agree to play football? Especially if the Big 10 doesn’t?

Vanderbilt, I would imagine, would not play. Their athletic department is part of the student government association. No students, no games

10 game Conference Sked, that'll give the ADs 1 or 2 games of wiggle room to schedule OoC Rivals or a G5 Team

Im all for it. Would love to see Kentucky play more of the West baws more frequently.

ROund robin, true champ with the usual tie breakers, no championship game.
would be the best season of college football ever (except the last one. . .)

It will never happen but I would love to see the SEC stage a round robin some day.
A bit of trivia as an aside: Of all those crowned since 1933, there has only ever been 2 SEC champions that could not have finished out of 1st place had the conference completed a round robin – 1964 Alabama & 1973 Alabama. The worst that could have happened to either of those teams would have been a tie for first.

Yeah... not exactly pumped about that one. Maybe if they played it in KC at arrowhead.

Let Vanderbilt sit this one out and have the remaining 13 teams play each other.
Boom. 12 regular season games.

That would be a lot of fun. Regular season would end on SEC championship weekend.
